Wonderful home cooked Serbian dishes. Small but delightful restaurant. Reservations only, cash or check only. Well worth it! The Moussaka was awesome!

Every time is better than the last. The food is out of this world and the dining area has so much charm. My favorite restaurant in Milwaukee!

Three brothers is a small establishment but absolutely worth it. The dumpling soup was very good and the stuffed peppers were devine. It can feel a little crowded but the service and food are well worth

We came in as a party of four and had an amazing dinner at this classic, historic restaurant. We shared the Serbian hors d’oeuvres plate which was a light starter for 4 but a nice way to kick off the dinner. For mains the cheese burek and stuffed peppers were the table favorites but the drama and goulash were great too. Had a round of Serbian nectars and a four different desserts. We will be back!

I’ve eaten at Three Brothers once per year for the past three years. It’s such a special place that we only eat there on my birthday.I love the entire dining experience. The interior is cozy. The stereo in the corner is usually playing Balkan music from their CD/cassette collection. There’s nothing like the light in that beautiful space when golden hour hits. And the service is warm and friendly. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: grape leaves or Serbian salad to start; stuffed peppers, stuffed grape leaves, burek, or sarma for the main course; and a carafe of house white wine to drink. They’ve been so accommodating to offer a vegan option for my beau when we call ahead to make reservations.I’m working my way through the Serbian specialties on the menu, but at the rate of once per year it might take me a while. It’s all delicious. One of these times I’ll leave room for dessert. I’ll be a lifelong customer. Just wish my birthday came more than once per year.

I was here decades ago, then, finally again in the summer of 2022. Since that visit, I've wanted to come back to enjoy the food, the feel of the restaurant that reminds me of small village cafes in eastern Europe, and the phenomenal staff. During the visit in 2022, it was difficult to truly enjoy the restaurant because someone in our party was being difficult. We finally made it back with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed the evening! The food is excellent. The small cafe feel is relaxing and intriguing. And our waitress, Emily, was not only excellent but a real sweetheart. We felt like invited family. We shared 2 Burek (cheese with spinach and beef). We each then had different entrees including the lamb, the sarma, the 2x plate with pork skewers and beef sausage, and the goulash. All were very good. Finally, the had a walnut torte desert that is not usually on the menu but available last night. Amazing! Already planning my next visit and I hope we sit at Emily's table again. Places like this are disappearing quickly. It's up to all of us to keep these very special venues thriving. It's very clear upon dining here that it remains a labor of love for the family that operates Three Brothers.

"Old world food" This Serbian style restaurant is a gem in Milwaukee. Don't expect a romantic table with dimmed lights, but enjoy grandma's kitchen table with your extended family sitting next to you.

This place is a must stop every time my family and I are in Milwaukee. It's got such a home like feeling to it that you immediately feel comfortable as if you were in relative or close friends kitchen. Super cozy. Then there's the food! Oh my! We've had about half the menu and weren't disappointed in the least bit with any of it! The beef burek is a must have and definitely get an extra to take home. They reheat great. The stuffed peppers and moussaka are dynamite as well. The Serbian coffee goes great with the baklava or apple strudel. Staff is very friendly and attentive as well as helpful with questions and suggestions. You will feel like family here!
