Friendly staff. Food was a letdown. Ordered the pastrami sandwich with deep fried mushrooms. Mushrooms were burnt to the point of being rock hard, and the mushroom inside has atrophied into a tiny speck. The bun for the sandwich was not the right type of roll for it. Also was not toasted. The pastrami was extremely dried out and flavorless which even the 4 dots of spicy mustard couldn't help. The game room is decent with a nice assortment. Just needs a lot of work on the food.

My partner is from New York. I've never been, so I have no frame of reference. He almost teared up. He said this pizza is the closest to New York slices in Madison. We went there on Thursday 2/8/24 for our anniversary and I have not been able to stop thinking about how effing good it was.I'd eat there every day if I could. The owner Dennis is a fresh breath of East Coast air.

I love the pizza here. You have to get a "fried dough" dessert/side! It's like Navajo fry bread, or a "utah scone". Hot, crisp, & fluffy pizza dough, then they sprinkle powdered sugar and cinnamon on top. It is amazing. My family liked the fries too, but they ate them so fast I didn't get a taste. I was too focused on my awesome pizza anyway. Great topping selection. Terrific food, so good! The games are fun too. Bathroom is kinda dirty. I would be negligent not to mention how COLD they keep the whole restaurant. I was last here in the summer so I thought it was a summer thing. But in February too, it felt like the A/C was full blast.Edit: Thanks so much for your reply, furnace issues suck, so sorry!! I'm happy to bring a sweater if I have to, I love your food! ?Vegetarian options: Many veggie toppings to choose from for any custom choices, and more than one meatless specialty pizza too.Parking: Enough spots in the strip mallKid-friendliness: Games are great!

Delicious!Had a cold sub for lunch that reminded me of all my favorite subs from going up in New England.Got takeout dinner here a few months ago with a friend from Peabody & they said it’s legit north shore ? Tastes like comfort food to me! Looking forward to my next visit.Parking is a bit of a challenge but worth figuring out.

Came in the middle of a snow storm. We were trying to make it home to Ft Wayne, IN and unable to get any further. Only Sub shop that answered a call. As we pull up the shop owners Momma (who mentioned she was just visiting and helping out today) came out to let us know they were closed for the evening due to the weather. As we are getting around to pull away (disappointed), she comes hustling out to say " my son said he could throw you a pizza in the oven, if you'd like?". After looking for an open sub shop for a couple hours in a couple different towns, ok we'll settle for a pizza. The son comes out to the counter and asks "what is it you really wanted?". My husband says "well, I really wanted a sub". Son says "sure, okay, what do want"? Long sweet story short they made us some awesome steak subs and we got a couple pints of ice cream to top it off. Really good food at a good price made by some really amazing people. Hard to find people like these people now days. It's on our favorites list and as over the road drivers, we'll definitely be visiting again. It was a good ending to a rather poopy day. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT NORTH SHORE PIZZA & SUBS! We pray you are blessed a million times over for you hospitality.

A classic local pizza and sandwich joint, bringing a little East Coast Pizza to Madison.
Great spot for a quick lunch. We got a sub, wings and a kid hotdog. Everything came out hot and fresh. Fries were fantastic, wings sauced well and a beautiful flavorful sub. Clean and friendly.Pizza looked great, we'll be back for a pie.

Their pizza is good. But I dock a star for two reasons :1) their green bell pepper is cut so thin it's basically a display pepper only. No green pepper taste or crunch. Only the appearance of a pepper on your pizza that crumples to nothing when you take a bite. So just don't order peppers on your pizza bc it doesn't really count as a topping but you'll still get charged for it 2) the gyro was pretty disappointing. Kind of feels like one of those grocery store gyro kits made to order. Would be better if they narrowed down their menu to things they just did well

In Madison temporarily and was looking for a decent sub that reminded me of subs back in NY. I was pleasantly surprised. The large is LARGE! And it’s very solidly priced. I got a cold American sub and it was amazing! Also got a chef salad. It was well worth the price and even came with garlic bread. I look forward to trying some of their pasta and pizza.Oh, and there’s an arcade! You can play some classic arcade games and skeeball while you’re waiting. So cool! But I would skip Pac-Man. That game was a train wreck. ? It must’ve been emulated and it was super glitchy. Literally this is my only gripe.
