I stopped in at Brix Cider tonight for a bite to eat.I had the Grass fed burger with greens and a house dressing. It was fabulous. The greens were varied, fresh, and lightly dressed with a few slices purple radish. The burger was delicious with melted gouda and garlic aioli but the piece de resistance of the meal was the sourdough bun with toasted edges. The the meal was a beautiful marriage of ingredients from Wisconsin Farms.Thank you for dinner!Vicki Anderson

So disappointed in this establishment. as another reviewer pointed out, be prepared to pay top dollars for mediocre food! Tried several dishes and everything was flavorless. This place really needs a chef! P.S. And as you can tell by the establishment's response, they are not open to suggestions, constructive criticism or improvements. Nope, we're perfect here!Vegetarian options: They have hummus and chips

Great staff, great vibe. My issue is the food. But pricey for what I would describe as 'mid'. Cheddar soup tasted like old broccoli, spinach artichoke dip was mostly cream cheese. Ciders are fine. It feels as though you are paying for plating over true quality of Everything else was unimpressive. A bit weak. Growlers and the live shows are the main draw. Improve the food and I bet this place would really be THE spot.

Very cute cidery in downtown Mt. Horeb. We enjoyed a flight of all of their ciders and it was yummy! Took home 2 of our favorites for later as well. Looks like they host live events and music as well! It’s a nice place to grab some drinks and hang out!

What a great find ... in an expected place . . . for a Celiac who can't drink beer with all my friends/family when they talk about microbreweries. Wow. I tried the flights and had 8 of the 9 samples available. My palete definitely went to the sweeter side. And, there was a Halloween party going on ... with a band. great time!

Went to see a live performance by Tom Castle. Had a glass of raspberry cider. It was a bit chilly for an outdoor performance but I had a good time.

Comfortable setting where you order your food at the front and it's delivered to your table. There were five of us who ordered a variety of menu item all were delicious. Highly recommend this place if you're in Mount Horeb hiking, shopping or live there.

I love this place! Just discovered it a month or so ago and have already been back 4 times. The cider is lovely with tons of varieties. All the food I’ve tried has been delicious, fresh, and special. My kids enjoy the foosball in the corner and the area to run around outside (just by the military ridge trail and adorable downtown Mt Horeb). Have only had wonderful experiences here! The staff has been helpful and warm.Kid-friendliness: They have games, books, and a foosball table for kids (and adults). Also laid-back setting that my kids enjoy.
The food is quite good but this review is negative because of all the issues I have had with carryout. Order a gyro, sauce on the side, no feta. Get home, feta and sauce on the gyro. If it happened once I'd let it go. This doesn't seem like it would be that difficult. If you order carryout from them i suggest checking the order before you leave.I'd like to stop ordering from them but carryout options around Blue Mounds are limited.Management: Please create a process to avoid this.

The gal who took care of us was wonderful. However, I got a pulled pork sandwich and had to look quite hard to find the pork and when I did it was quite fatty. Again, the gal was

Had a nice cider in the patio and enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich that had a sweet barbacue sauce and thinly sliced crisp apple on a bun with chips.

This place has surprising good food and is reasonably vegetarian friendly. The BBQ mushroom sandwich was really good and their smashed potatoes are to die for. Service was friendly and OK for what it is (order at counter / coffee house style) and this is basically a coffee house type restaurant ambiance wise that specialized in ciders.Their ciders were really good, but a bit pricy. 10oz runs around $7 after taxes per glass. I tried the "Troll" and the "Autumn" on the dry side of things and highly recommend the "Autumn" if they have it when you visit. Plentiful on street parking in the area and just down the street from the Grumpy Troll.

Okay place, wanted to like it more bc the local food. Food was good but nothing special. Wanted to sit outside but only two tables are in the shade so that was a no go. Need a shade structure outside. Sat inside but had to clean our own table of the previous person's mess. Then kids started playing foosball, which is cool to have in theory, but not in practice. It is an old table with metal sides and makes a loud and grating noise. Very annoying, feel sorry for the workers that have to listen to that all day.
