I celebrated my PhD yesterday in this great restaurant. Well we had a fabulous evening and the restaurant was undoubtedly the reason for that strong evening. I loved the decor in this restaurant, I loved the seating overlooking to street below, I loved the ambiance. My onion rings came with cocktail sauce, which I thought was weird, but it was delicious! The salad bar had a nice selection & the dressings were great! The prices were high, the cheapest sandwich was $9, but it is a touristy area so you kind of have to expect that. It was such good food that it was worth it!

Genuine Swiss feel from the moment we walked in. Chalet-style design with Euro-Alpine Bierhaus feel, from artwork to general decor. Covid has caused a change in menu, which is reflected in their on-tap brews. However, my wife and I like Spotted Cow, so that was what we had. Lunch plates of choice during our visit were a Reuben Sandwich plate and a dish of Sauerbraten, both very tasty and served to temperature. Price was acceptable, too! Definitely worth another visit to explore different menu options next time, which I am certain will not disappoint.

Lovely atmosphere. We came for lunch and the food and beers were spectacular (draft spotted cow with some Rosti and Wienerschitzel) — the portions were very generous. The service was great too. I’d highly recommend you giving it a try. We’ll certainly be back.

Day trip/lunch for Mom's bday - it was fabulous! I had the rösti with veal and smoked brats. Mom had the ham and cheese rösti. Big portions! The service was friendly and masks were worn by staff and required for diners. Can't wait to come back for fondue and schnitzel!
