We checked this place out on a Friday night at around 5. We had a party of 7. We had no problem getting a seat and service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their food. I got the Cod meal and wish the cod would of been larger pieces but really good. The bluegill was also very good and my father in law thought he got a good amount. My daughter got chicken tenders and fries and she really enjoyed it.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with Lemonade. Win Win.

This is the place I take friends and familyto when they visit. Food is some of the best in the area, a must try. also, a fun place to throw back a few drinks after work or on a day off. Friendly wait staff and overall great place.Kid-friendliness: My kids love their Mac n cheese

Service was awesome, as well as the atmosphere. Really enjoyed the carmellized onions on the grilled cheese and the Wisconsin cheese on the Mac n cheese was smooth and creamy.

Unfortunately this place missed the mark for us. The menu looks like it will be great, but the food was flavorless and lacking. The atmosphere is great, the server was “okay” (but I think forgot about us when it was well past time to get our check)I think it could be considered a stop for a beer and a burger, but I don’t recommend the “fancier” foods.

I can’t believe how packed it was and busy they were when we stopped in. We almost turned around and went somewhere else. I’m so glad we didn’t!!! The service was phenomenal and the food was delicious. I never had to wait for a drink. I am seriously impressed. I will be going back again!

It's a bar pub, so that's the atmosphere. The food varies between very good and excellent, the service is always excellent,and the location is perfect.
Stopped in for dinner on our one night in Oshkosh. I got the beer can half chicken with brussel sprouts and their bacon & broccoli medley. Finance got the curd burger with fries. Both were excellent. Table next to us got the prime rib which looked really good too. I love that they have so many keto friendly options. We'll definitely be making a point to stop there again the next time we're in town.Dietary restrictions: Had tons of keto friendly options

Tonight was our 1st visit to Gabes and from the moment we walked in I was impressed with the decore and ambiance. The restaurant (and bathrooms) were very clean, the staff was welcoming and attentive, and the food was delicious. My husband had the walleye, I had the French dip, and my son had the prime rib (and cheese curds). This is not your typical sports bar when it comes to the food. It surpassed all of our expectations! Our garden sales had all the fixings, the brussels sprouts were grilled perfectly, and all of our main dishes were made exactly as we requested. Food was the right temperature and seasoned well (not too salty!). Hats off to the cook and to the entire staff for making our 1st trip to Gabe's a great one! We will definitely be back.
