I ordered 1 Cajun fish & 1 Catfish dinner with the idea my wife & I would sample both. The presentation was off (no segmented take out plate, fries in bag in plate & too soft. 1 tiny 2tblsp dash of coleslaw). That said, the fish was delicious with the sweet/hot sauce. I think both dinners were made exactly the same. With just a little more attention to small details, could become 4 stars.
My hubby and I come up to racine to fish for salmon. All I can say is I am sorry we didn't find this place sooner! I had the chicken Philly (AMAAAAAAAZING) and my hubby had the chicken tenders (also very good). The gentleman behind the counter was super nice and laid back. Food was cooked fast and when you open the box, you can definitely tell it was prepared with passion! We ordered kind of late... so we didn't know what to expect. BUT the food was delicious. The catfish dinner was great! The breading was incredible! They were out if Okra... so they substituted jalapeno poppers (strange choice)... but they were delicious! They were out of cheeseburgers... so they substituted chicken tenders (another strange choice) but they were also delicious! The mozzarella sticks were perfect. I would highly recommend Aminahs 509!
