This place is a sad shell of what it used to be. And that's ok I guess. The entire world is currently going mediocre. But I assume it wouldn't be this way at all if the previous owners were still here. They were quite literally around all day to make sure you were having a good visit. What did we get last time I went for lunch? Dana. Hungover, bad attitude, no effort for service. Except when some people she knew came in. Man, I wish we were those people. They got stellar service. And in turn our service became worse. We became a pariah to this person. Having to constantly get her attention over and over. The food was mostly just ok and not what I remember. They should just change the name. Becky is the only good thing about this place and sadly she was not there that day.

This is the 3rd time I have gone here & I am more upset with myself that I don't go here more often. The food is amazing & the atmosphere is great. I can see why it wins best fish fry in Racine County. Came in with my girlfriend for a Lentil Fish Fry & it definitely did not disappoint at all. Wait was 30-40min but I entered expecting that. Found a spot at the bar for the final 25min of the wait. Ordered the Calimari for an appetizer. Very good & you could tell it wasn't some fake Calimari bc it looked like a real octopus. Tasted great. Got the bluegill with sand dollar potato chips. Absolutely phenomenal all Around. 4 great sized pieces. Perfectly crispy & not too battered. Rarely do I ever take home leftovers but only finished 2 of the 4 pieces & half of the Calimari. So had an amazing lunch on Saturday. Girlfriend got the perch & also came with 4 great sized pieces. The sand dollars are amazing. Great prices for portion sizes as well as phenomenal taste. 5* place

We had the grouper dinner with wild rice and thin sliced sautéed carrots, onions and zucchini. The grouper was seasoned with Cajun spices and was firm and tasty and well presented. The veggies were al dente and flavorful. There was only one server on today, so she was running and service was a bit slow. As always, the ambiance was relaxed and comfortable.... not too busy. We have been going here for 30 years, and Joey has taken the Yardarm to a new level.

We decided to be those people that go out without a reservation on Valentine's Day. I am uncertain if they take reservations anyway. Our server was fantastic. Even though I made a mess. She was on top of her game. The bartender, a nice guy, seemed to be a little overwhelmed. Someone decided to jump the wait list by bellying up to the bar. The bartender addressed them before me and took their dinner order. There were two groups in front of us when the "jumpers" asserted their dominance. My wife and I were actually planning on going to those open seats at the bar to wait for our table. Oh well. The food is fantastic and priced very fairly. So much lobster on the menu. We love that. They were busier than normal, but besides a stressed vibe from some of the staff it was a great dinner. The kitchen knocked the food out quickly and it was amazingly delicious. The runner was super chill and Kool. I would recommend this establishment time and time again. Great food, drinks and service. My wife and I were asking each other why we don't go here more. We will be.
