I’ve been going to beans and cream for over 5 years. For those years I’ve become a complete fan, always recommending it to others, loved the staff, etc. Lately I have been extremely disappointed. It has now been consistent that my order will always take at least 25+ mins, even if I’m the only one in line. I completely understand that wait times vary, and they get so busy but there seems to be a lack of urgency help customers. On top of that my order has been incorrect everytime and everytime I bring it up I catch major attitude. This may be in part because of the intercom having issues but It shouldn’t be an argument if I’m paying for incorrect items.
Lately, there are much better options for consistent and timely coffee with much friendlier service in sun prairie :/

Nice little coffee shop with reasonable prices and decent food items on menu to pair with drinks.

Wonderful atmosphere! Such a sweet little place to meet friends, family, etc. for a small breakfast or lunch and great coffee. I am picky about coffee but they did great without asking for extra Carmel or sugar😂 breakfast bagel was so good too.

I’ve gone here a dozen times now. When I went yesterday, I was finally early enough to snag a pastry. I got the almond crossiant. Omggggg, so flippen good! I want one every month for the rest of my life. They’re also huge! I was only able to eat 1/3 of it along with my breakfast burrito. And by the next morning it was hard as rock. But I didn’t store it properly. I just left it in the paper bag. But that didn’t stop me from still eating it!!

I also love their sausage burrito with the mayo. Yum.

Food and drinks are always good. The wait times here on the other hand are insane. I’ve been sitting in the drive thru for 15 minutes just waiting to order…make sure you leave early if you plan on stopping here before work.

Kiwi trip has better coffee. Bakery is OK, not with the prices. As for the breakfast burrito I have no words. $7 for the smallest burrito I've ever seen

Coffee and bagel sandwich was good. The place is a little pricey for what you get.

I am currently waiting at the window for a burrito I ordered 15+ minutes ago after waiting 15 minutes to actually put in the order. I have also had multiple food orders screwed up in the past 2 weeks. I love the coffee and food here, but I’m about done coming back. The staff are great, but they are clearly understaffed. Thank goodness my 8 week old baby in my backseat is being patient today.

I'm not one to frequent Beans and Cream due to a previous encounter back in 2018. However, with the news they'll be acquiring The Poppy Seed in DeForest, I wanted to visit with an open mind in hopes of resetting my perception as I want to enjoy and frequent their new location once open. Today I visited the location on main and I placed my order for an iced latte, a bagel, and a scone.

After a couple of sips of my latte, I realized I had forgotten to specify almond milk. 100% my mistake. I checked and I didn't have any Lactaid on hand so I did the embarrassing thing and re-ordered my latte. The barista was more than accommodating. I was fully expecting to pay for another and she said it wasn't a problem and swapped them without repayment.

This experience was great and I'm moving past my petty squabble and excited to have the caliber of an establishment in DeForest.
