I had high hopes for this hotel because of the good reviews but unfortunately i found everything pretty bad. Room was very clean and didn’t smell but there was absolutely no hot water to wash your hands let alone shower. Barely lukewarm water. Room was very dated and the use of space was bad because of the dated furniture. Two people could not move at all around the bed. Breakfast looked good but the cereal bowls had to have been purchased for $.05 each. You could barely put two spoonfuls pf cereal in the bowl let alone adding milk. Sausage and apple juice was good but my bf said the waffle syrup was the worst he has ever had. Just very disappointing in all the important ways.

I’m not one to complain but I’m so disappointed. I use this hotel to stop between my Georgia to NY trip. I’ve stayed with them previous years with no problems. It’s the place I normally pick !BUT these last 2 times just totally infuriated me. I book months ahead to get the jacuzzi room. It’s my special week away I get each year to visit family and to take that one day to relax.1st night I pulled up - 7/31They said they over booked because a conference came in that day and they didn’t realize I had the room reserved. I mean I literally booked 2 months in advance. So we had to stay in another room which was okay but not what we booked. They said management would see what they could do. I left at 5am and they slid the bill. They charged me full price. I left as I was in a rush to make my final drive. I didn’t complain.2nd time I stopped 8/14They gave me my key and I was super pumped for my room. I walked in to white powder all on the table. Looked like cleaner just swiped over with a dry towel and spread it all over. Shameful ! I have a 3 year old. That could be so dangerous. Thank god I inspected. It ended up being on the cards on the table and of course one of the cards were rolled up. Hey party hard yall but please clean the drugs before my son goes in the room. The jet tub was dirty and the lady from the front gave me her cleaning stuff and I had to clean someone else’s filth because the cleaner was too lazy. Burn holes all over. Once again they said management would get with me and it never happened. They definitely lost a good customer and someone who was spreading awareness of their place for others to stay. Now I tell people to stay away. Just not happy and I’m so easy going most stuff doesn’t bother me.

My husband works out on the road and has been staying there for a month. Each week, they take out the hotel fee 2 times. The last week they took out 1200$. The manager refused to talk to him! If you stay there I would not put it on my card and if you do, I’d keep an eye out of them taking it out more times!Update one: we called the main office and they said “we see that they are doing it to others.Update 2: they took out another 56$. So in 3 days they took over $1200.

Room & bathroom is clean, check in staff were efficient and friendly, but room needs some serious help... if I wasn't so tired on the late night check-in I probably would've complained but since the bed and room are clean, I'm just gonna deal with it for the night

I picked this hotel because of reviews being 4/5stars and the pictures online showing a tub in the room with the king bed , after a long drive I was looking forward to having a hot bath and watching tv. The room was VERY expensive in my opinion at $280 but I thought I would treat myself to it even though there looked like many other nice $100/night rooms in the vicinity. I was extremely disappointed to find a standard room like every other hotels I have even been to with the bathroom to the right of entering with standard tub/shower combo, tiny room with a bed, mini fridge, tv, desk, Ac unit. Also the tub was not clean, visibly dirty, used soap bar with pubes stuck in it. NOT the room I paid a premium for. At least the room was free of signs of bed bugs (I checked) people need to know about this hotel and that it's really not the 4/5 stars that appears in reviewsRooms: Rooms are basic hotel rooms like every one you've ever seen before.

As we were walking to our rooms you could tell the place hadn't been cleaned in a while properly. As we got to our room we found a tick under a pillow. Then As I walked to the other side of our room there were blood stains on the carpet. I recommend not staying here.

The bathroom was dirty. There was dried up pee on the bottom of the toilet, and the floor behind the toilet was very dirty compared to the rest of the floor. You could tell it had not been cleaned correctly in a while. The room was missing some of the amenities such as coffee and cups. The staff was friendly. However, when I asked for coffee and wash rags, I was told they would bring me some, and I never received them. We stayed 3 nights. We had to ask for fresh towels every day even though I asked during check-in if we would receive fresh towels daily and was told yes. There was an issue of a water problem during our stay, no hot water. I was informed by someone but not the hotel staff. The lobby restroom was disgusting. I had heard it was out of order, but there were no out of order signs. We had issues with our room cards. We had to get them re-done every day. Cleanliness is the biggest issue we had, along with not receiving fresh towels.\\nOverall, this hotel was very disappointing. I do not see us staying here again. The biggest plus is that it was close to several restaurants.

Our room was disgusting. There was food all over the floor. It only looked like the bedsheets had been changed and nothing else was cleaned. The beds themselves were so old I could feel the springs in the mattress against my back. The entire hotel smelled like wet dog. I chose this hotel because the reviews were quite positive but I have no idea what they were talking about. I wish I’d chosen another hotel in the area because the price wasn’t even competitive. I would not recommend this hotel. I would have complained to the front desk to ask for another room but I’d been driving for 12 hours and was exhausted. Don’t make my mistake! Stay elsewhere in Beckley.

I definitely won't come back to this place and can't recommend it over the numerous other options nearby. On the positive side, the rooms are clean, and bathrooms appear to have been recently renovated. However, one of our 2 rooms had an overwhelming air freshener aroma, indicating someone likely smoked or had a pet there. One of the rooms had damaged carpet and chair, which I would also guess is from a pet. The showers were lukewarm at best, and the breakfast was the smallest continental offering I've seen - fake eggs, cereal, bagels, and a broken wafflemaker. There are simply too many better options nearby at a comparable price. Do yourself a favor and try them out first.

First time stopping in Beckley on our drive south for some warmer weather. We were greeted by Kecia with a smile and good humour, which was nice after a full day of driving. She quickly got us our room which was very comfortable. The hot breakfast in the morning hit the spot before continuing our drive. We will definitely stop here next year.

I've stayed at this Quality Inn on most all of my trips to WV since 2011 (many times!). I have never had any issues and everyone working there is always so friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, breakfast is always good, and the food at Morgan's is always good too! Conveniently located near many restaurants and stores and right off the highway.
