We stopped in for drinks and were delighted with the selection. My husband enjoyed all 4 beers in his flight. We were there as they approached closing and didn't feel pushed out one bit.

This is for the beer only. In another life I used to go through Berkeley Springs once a week for several years and I was always enamored with the town and those Roman baths there. I was going through there for work and the guy rode with would never stop. I bet if this had been there back then he would have stopped. So I was at a store and they had this beer and because of the name of it and the location of it and what was on the can I bought it. I don't think I've ever paid this much for a six pack of beer but it was at the top of a mountain and the beer was very very very very good. I usually drink the dark beers and I really like this one.

Great vibes. I got the anniversary IPA beer. There is a cabinet of games you can borrow. Great plants all around too.

came here for the 3rd time and the bbq and beer is always unique. it's very rare that the beer an bbq are both excellent. amber was our server and when the service and her knowledge of beer and edibles puts Berkeley springs brewery over the top. thank you Amber for an awesome experience

I really kept an open mind here, with high hopes of a great experience. However, I want to give some background on my knowledge, first, before leaving this review.Since 2014 me and my wife have travelled all over the east coast, sometimes separate and sometimes together, to eat at BBQ joints and drink at breweries. I also had my own bbq company dedicated to weekend catering for several years before covid shut down events, and have since moved on without getting back into it. So needless to say we're always excited to see "Beer & BBQ" as an option when visiting a new area. Berkeley Springs Brewing Company is somewhere around my 500th brewery and "bbq" stop. We formed our opinion based on a few key things, like we always do:CleanlinessBeer selection/menuFood menuServiceBeer qualityFood qualityPriceA couple things to mention here, we only sat outside, not inside so I cannot comment on the inside staff or experience. Outside seating needs some work, not a level spot at any table, and only 2 tables which were taken had umbrellas. I mean, we love sitting outside, it's always our go to choice but we should have asked to move if we were not happy, so that's on us.Beer selection and food selection is poor, I really cannot understand the other reviews I've read that state this place has a great selection of beer and food, because thats simply not the case. Mostly IPAs, one sour (which I got, and had to give to my wife) and some "hard seltzer teas" that were almost too bad to get down (my wife ordered). AGAIN, this is not our first time looking at a tap list, and we have had worse, so we just sucked it up and didn't waste it. The sour was pretty good though, I did enjoy that. The BBQ, this is what did us in, we got the "BBQ sampler" and I know reheated bbq when I see it and that's what we got. Now, this is a very difficult task I will say, especially when you do not have a large turnover of customers to feed and make large portions of BBQ. However, the pulled pork was beyond dry, it was definitely packed, frozen, thawed, reheated and then served to us. The brisket was grey, dry and sliced incorrectly, clear signs of a cook who's winging it on the pit. My son wanted a burger but they didn't offer that as an option, instead he got a brisket SLIDER for $12 and a side of Mac for even more money, no option to make a meal which is the first time we have seen that, a bit of a money grab from kids in my opinion. Our waitress was excellent, no complaints whatsoever there. Friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and did an outstanding job. Thank you!Overall, we spent $89 with a tip, for 3 people (2 adults, 1 kid). Let me reiterate the items:2 sour mango beers (good)1 hard peach seltzer (bad)1 BBQ sampler - brisket, pulled pork, turkey, collard greens, beans, potato salad, coleslaw, bbq sauce, mustard, garlic aioli, cornbread (bad)1 brisket slider (kids menu $12) w/ side of Mac for extra cost (bad)-2 root beer slushies (good)I see the company likes to respond to the bad reviews telling people they should have said something if the beer/food wasn't great. We all know what kind of image it is to complain, so most people will not do that, including us, only if it is truly that horrible or raw/undercooked, which ours was not. If you're going to offer these items, then please make sure you have the proper training and equipment to offer the best results. This seemed like someone was ambitious but gave up shortly after, and for that we will not return.

Excellent brewery! The "Sexy Fries(w/ a garlic parmesan sauce)" were a hit with the whole family as an appetizer, and both turkey sandwiches were very good! The quesadilla was huge and had a drizzle of barbecue sauce on it, which made it very tasty!! They also brew their own Rootbeer(optional ice cream for a float), which my daughter and I loved!!!

Stopped in for lunch, they let us taste a few for free, tried beers I normally wouldn't drink and everything was good! Ended up getting the porter and the stout, husband had a brown ale and a kombucha which was also good. He had the brisket sandwich and I had the jalapeno pretzel with Mac and cheese on the side, food came out fast and was really good!! The apple BBQ sauce was awesome! Bartender was nice and attentive. If we didn't live so far away (NJ) we'd definitely come here often!
