Used to be good; now it’s beyond horrible. The food was inedible. The noodles were stuck together like globs of glue, they shorted us on everything (shrimp and other appetizers) and the owners were very rude. I will never go back till they are gone and someone new takes over. The worst part is I suggested this place and everyone had a bad meal.

I have been a customer of Happy Gardens for almost 30 years. Since the original owner John sold this business it has went downhill at a steady decline. Today we ordered egg rolls with little cabbage and no ginger. Cheese wontons that we're not seasoned properly if at all and we're WAY under-stuffed. All you tasted was dry wonton with a side of cream cheese with no fixins in them. The peppered chicken and beef fried rice were good. The fortune cookies were unusually stale. We paid almost $40.00 and half the order was not worth eating to say that we were disappointed is an understatement.

food is really good but they don’t provide delivery from the store so that cost a lot extra because you have to have a third party to deliver...but next time I’ll go pick it up because they charge a delivery fee, service fee and then the third-party fee and a tip

They seemed nice but the price online is not the same in the store. They trick you into $2 extra per meal because you can't pat online.

It’s a shame my favorite Chinese restaurant of 30 years does not have enough respect for me to refund my money or write down a credit the only time I have ever complained. Sure it’s a new owner as of a couple of years ago, but tonight the food was not fit to eat. The sweet and sour chicken was hard, pepper steak was chewy and small portion, cheese wontons were cold. Just terrible. I kindly ask for a refund or credit after explaining why and am told no. What was I thinking being said they were closed like 5 days for Thanksgiving.
My go-to weekly game night takeout place!!! I've never had a bad thing from here and I've been ordering from them at least once a week for over a year now. They are also very accommodating for my food allergy.

We basically drive from Fairmont about every 2-3 weeks just to order their Cheese Wontons. They are my elderly mothers favorite thing, however the last 2 orders, either they got a new cook, changed the recipe or got new ownership. There wontons used to be flaky on outside cooked perfectly and so creamy and full on the inside. THe last 2 times been fried rock hard and the filling was alot less and very dry. Anyone got the 411? Is the change permanent or temporary? No point in making a special trip if the quality remains poor, we can get terrible cheese wontons anywhere lol

They close at random times. One time I ordered shrimp chow mei fun, it had no noodles in it, went to take it back and they were closed…within a 10min time frame, at like 630pm on a Friday. Then I stopped today to try to get some egg rolls(the only reason I even bother going anymore) anf the door was open but the guy said “no order because we’re out of food” at 7pm on a Friday. When I can get anything, theyre good. But the probability of being able to get anything is random and rare anymore. So I guess Ill go elsewhere.

How dare you take online orders when you are closed! This is the 2nd time I have driven 20 minutes to find a hand-written note on the door "Closed Today". What an amazingly unprofessional way to operate. I received a cancellation email AFTER my scheduled pickup time. Never again. The food isn't THAT good.
The food is always good and fresh, best take out!
