My fish was very small and not really fresh. Fries were good but my biggest disappointment was the small stale hush puppies. They used to be really fluffy and melt in your mouth. Not today.

For as long as I can remember, this Captain D’s has been un-godly slow BUT always had good food. TODAY HOWEVER was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant in general. The wait as usual was over 30 minutes, and the food was DISGUSTING. The fish tasted like it was soaked in water. The chicken was nothing but gristle We didn’t receive half of our shrimp, and the sweet tea wasn’t sweet and was just in general disgusting. This is by far the worst food I have ever been served, and will not be returning for a long time.Sorry to sound like a Karen, but this is the truth.

Great experience, food was great dining area was clean and the drink machine area and condiments were clean and well stocked. Fish was golden as were the French fries hush puppies were delightful coleslaw was delicious stuffed crabs were so good, okra was sweet. Staff all greeted us upon entry and said thank you as we left all in all it was a very good experience oh and the place was warm too that matters this time of year!!! ☃️ ? ❄️ Dec 24th 2023 we had just left a very bad experience at barnyard barbecue and this meal and experience made up for it!! Thank you!!!Parking: Huge clean parking lot very nice!!

Love the food. I realize restaurants can't get employees, but I sure do wish that would change. They do a good job with what they have though. Portions are quite adequate too.

I have never gotten my food here in under 20 minutes. Always have to wait so long. I just waited over 35 minutes for a simple order. This place is understaffed and does not care about customer service in the slightest. Food is good if you have 20-30 minutes to wait for it.

Was very hospitable as soon as we walked in with a party of 7! It was 9pm and they closed at 10pm. 4th of July as well. Our food didn’t take long at all. Place is very clean. Close to interstate ramps & gasoline. Safe & clean. Our cashier was super accommodating & patient.Vegetarian options: Broccoli & corn optionsKid-friendliness: Very kind to the kiddos! Very helpful!
