It's tucked away in the middle of a strip mall/plaza. It's definitely worth finding. The price is fair (if not low for the area). The service is friendly and quick. The food is excellent and I'm looking forward to trying other stuff on the menu. Good WV style dog with creamy slaw.

Real burgers, crinkle fries, and free bottled water.Family-owned., not a franchise (yet) The employees made you feel like you were an old friend stopping by for a great meal and conversation. Next time, I'm going to have their real steak, cheesesteaks and onion rings!

Im honestly not sure how to rate due to the uniqueness of my experience. I know these guys mean well, but there is no organization in their kitchen. We got someone else's order first. Then when we got ours, everything was wrong. The food was good, the monster burger was fantastic. The staff seem to genuinely care about customers and they apologized for every mistake. I just don't really like how disorganized the entire system is. No matter how well intended they were, they just couldn't pull it together. We came during an extremely busy time, and I can understand that it threw them off, but that doesn't excuse their lack of communication as a team. Again, they were so friendly to us and the food was delicious. I would not recommend going in if you see more than 5 people eating in the building.Vegetarian options: We ordered a burger, but ended the meat on the side as there was a vegetarian in our group. Super simple. Make the sandwich the same way, just put the meat on the side. And somehow ended up with a salad...Parking: Located in a shopping plaza so there's parking all around.Wheelchair accessibility: Small walkway. There's only one table that's truly wheelchair friendly.

This was our first time here. We had the ribs and the monster burger. They were both fresh made and were fantastic. The prices were very reasonable and the serving sizes were great. Not sure what else is around here, but if you're out this way, it's definitely worth the stop.

A great, local burger place! Stopped in for lunch during the week and took our order home. Everything was great and we will absolutely be back.
I had lunch at Big Red’s Shanty this week and got the Ghost Burger. It was awesome! The burger is from local beef and was grilled to perfection. The Ghost Burger sauce is amazing and the burger also includes an onion ring. The fries were crisp and a great addition to a tasty and satisfying lunch. Definitely recommend.

This is one of those places that isn't all that busy, so the employees feel obliged to talk to you while you're eating your meal. I never liked that. They're also a bit overpriced, a burger and fries will set you back about 12 bucks. Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious, but you can get the same quality food elsewhere in a better atmosphere and for a cheaper price.
