This was the best food I’ve tasted in a long time! You want fresh and creative food this is your spot. I tried multiple menu items and all were fresh and perfectly paired. I’ll be making the 45 minute drive to eat here way more now. The staff all had very kind personalities and were very helpful. If you haven’t tried this place you’re missing out.
Delicious food: salad, pizza, and cannoli. Good variety. Small area for sitting but good service and nice design . Outside there is parking and table close to creek. Recommend to visit this place if you are in the
I have always loved homegrown pizza. they make such delicious food, have innovative specials, and their customer service is awesome. Today I thought I completed my online order, but when I arrived at the restaurant, they did not have my order. It was completely my fault I had not hit the final button to submit my order online. They graciously offered to make my order on the fly, Despite it being my mistake and not theirs. I love Homegrown for many reasons, but their customer service is top-notch. It is by far my favorite pizza place in Morgantown. The whole menu is delicious. Don’t forget dessert!!! Thanks for being amazing Homegrown!!!

My recent pizza there had less flavor than when I used to get pizzas there, and the proce quite high for a plain pizza with olives. But, I also don't appreciate them asking me on the phone when I order, if I want to leave a 15%, 18% or 20% tip. Well, the tips not going to break me, but I never recall people who aren't actually waiting on you, asking for a tip until the last few years. I always leave a 20% tip when I have a waitress or waiter taking my order, bringing my food, etc, but if I'm paying way more than a pizza is even worth, and coming into the restaurant to get it, what is the tip for? And, a few years ago when I ordered a pizza, and the owner asked if I wanted to leave a tip, and I said no, she said snottily "We have to make a living too!"I tried again today because I had to come right by there, but that was the last time. The pizza had zero flavor! I'll stick with my favorite Pizza Al's. I wouldn't mind a tip jar, but to put people on the spot feels aggressive, or at least coercive. It makes me not want to go there.By the way, the last Pizza Al's to open in Morgantown, called Pizza Al's and Bar, just past the Colliseum, on Saratoga Ave., has a special for a 20" pizza for only $9.99! I'd call before ordering to make sure they still have the special.

Caprece salad was made up of "spring mix". Supposed to be made with basil and not spring mix. ALOT of $$$ for a bootleg Caprece $alad ?. Attempted to call but already closed. Pizza was good. My daughter chowed down.

The only reason I’m leaving a review is to ask if you could get shredded mozzarella. I’m picky when it comes to the cheese on my pizza, and if you guys had shredded mozzarella I could go there all the time for pizza… instead of just when I crave home grown. I love the atmosphere and people and lots of there pizzas and specials! But the only mozzarella available is the fresh blobs (for lack of better words) and sometimes you just crave a pizza with stringy cheese. I apologize for my cheese rant. Thank you.
