I work at Kroger and they do not want to give me being a black person to have any benefits or pto or work me full time and I got rent and bills to pay! I think they just want me getting evicted because they act like you can't start out full time at this low paying job!

It's pretty much the only viable grocery store in Morgantown, but I'd rather grocery shop anywhere else. I hope this city gets a better chain.

This store is conveniently located near the Evansdale campus. The cleanliness is horrible. A few of the things I've seen have been smashed egg cartons, leaking refrigerators, trip hazards, and chill units out of temperature. The last time I was in, the "chip aisle" smelled strongly of sewage. This wasn't the first time I smelled the aisle like this. I commented on it to another customer and they immediately said that they have noticed it on multiple occasions also. How is that even possible? Or safe? 2 stars, but only because of location.

It’s always well stocked and friendly staff.

I placed an online birthday cake order 5 days in advance. On the day it was supposed to be picked up, I called to see if it was ready. The first person I spoke to put me on the phone with another person. The second person asked if it was an online order and then put me on hold. That person then comes back and asks if I had the right Kroger, I read the address back (it was correct). Then the person said well, we don’t have it. Never tried to fix the situation or anything, I’m just glad it wasn’t a special cake (I can’t just go pick up a different cake from somewhere else) for a child’s birthday. I won’t bother trying to get a cake from here again.

To those saying "watch out my car got towed," HOW LONG WERE YOU IN THE STORE that they had the time to think your car was wrongfully parked, call a tow company, and have them pick it up and haul out before you'd made sure the bagger didn't put the eggs under the milk. Smells fishy... Anyway, this particular location has been loving nicknamed "Kroghetto." Not necessarily because it's bad but because it will never live up to mommy and daddy's expectations like "Krogucci" in Suncrest Plaza, and to be fair, they have the biggest, nicest Kroger I've ever seen. But back to Kroghetto, it has what you need and everything's clean with nothing to complain about. It is a tiny bit smaller than average and the parking area can prove testy to traverse but otherwise no major complaints.
The other night my friend and I went to pick up his car at Kroeger's. To our surprise, there was no car. It was actually illegally towed at 1 am. We went inside to speak to the people there, who were very helpful, and they told us that their manager would be in tomorrow morning and to call then if we wanted to discuss details as to why the car was towed at all. We called this morning and spoke to the manager and he refused to let us see security footage of the car being taken or any indication of a no parking sign. When we said we were coming in to talk to him he then angrily hung up the phone and has declined every call since. I don't know much about managing a store but I'm almost positive that you don't angrily hang up on a customer who's car you had illegally towed in the middle of the night during your b**** fit. Very unprofessional and immature also a very whiny manager. Extremely disappointed in the managers lack of customer service as every associate in Kroeger's has never failed me before. If I had the option to give 0 stars, I would.

Good selection of different foods. Items are well organized. Checkout is typically very quick and easy. The parking lot can be a little bit of a challenge at times

Honestly I had enough money in my account and they won't accept it. Worst Kroger I've ever been to.

unfortunately we will no longer be able to shop at Krogers because you can not run a Mastercard as credit. I was advised to contact corporate. I did so and it is automated not an actual person so they kept saying debit in the response. who ever took over Krogers you've ruined it at least for me.

This is probably the best supermarket store in Morgantown: it's 24 hours (except gas), clean, and generally decent staff. It's only glaring flaw is that on any given visit, I will inevitably find prices missing or mislabeled in one to three things I might want to buy (99 percent of the time I just don't pick that up, and buy it elsewhere, like Giant Eagle; I don't want to enable that slack by carrying it to the front for a "price check"). Clearance items used to have clearance prices, but as of a couple months ago, few things seem to be priced as clearance (rarely worth visiting that section now).
