We are visiting from out of town. We stop by Mario's Fishbowl in Morgantown, to have lunch with our friends( 10 of us) When we walked in everyone in the place just stared us down? The girl sat us outside in the back patio, we asked to move the tables together so our party could all sit together. The waitress said "no" you cannot move the tables you have to sit where there are. Then the attitude she gave us from the very start was terrible. The way she asked for our drink orders, to giving one person in our party an extremely hard time about her id which clearly shows her age of 42. Here id was expired by 10 days .( we have been traveling and flying to baseball tournaments and no one gave her a hard time. She tried to explain that they hadn't been home to get it renewed. The waitress ( heavy set, curly brown hair) was so rude to her. I asked to see a manger and her snarky response back was that last straw. We got up and left. Mario's fish bowl missed out on a minimum of $400 bill plus tip, we have told everyone to not go to this establishment. The owner needs to train this witness how to have customer service, and not act like a bitch to people that are wanting to spend money and would have come back another time had this not had happened! All because of this one waitress it has ruined our experience at Mario's Fishbowl at 3117 University Ave Morgantown, WV. DON'T GO UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE CRAP

Decent place for wings. Haven't tried all their sauces yet. Cowboy ranch is pretty reliable. Fries are also great, can't go wrong with cheese fries. Inside dining comfortable and low key. Decent beer selection including local on tap. Service friendly and prompt. Recommend giving it a shot if looking for a sandwich/wing meal.

I know it's the season of price gouging in America but $5.75 for five (not-hand-breaded) onion rings comes out to $1.15 per individual onion ring. Buyer beware.
I used to love this place. Every time I was in the area from out of town, it was a must stop in. Now, the staff is rude and they are just trying to get you out the door. They cater to larger groups and don't worry about groups of 3-4 The food was always good but again went down hill and was served cold chilly cheese fries. The only consistency was that the draft beer was cold.

If you're into the college drinking atmosphere, this place rocks!!! With their signature offering being drinks served in huge glasses (yes, indeed you could have a small fish like a Molly or Beta live in one of their drink bowls), be prepared for a rowdy, lively atmosphere. Mario's never disappoints in this regard. Clean, but cramped, this place serves up good bar food and a great selection for some really good beers. A Morgantown institution for good reason. Cheers!!
