Very impressed with the food and atmosphere of this little place. Ate there twice and both the brunch and and lunch were unique in their offerings. The type of place you wish more restaurants strived to be.

100000/10 will definitely be back for more. I’ve heard such great things about this restaurant and it definitely did not disappoint. The garlic parm fries are *chef’s kiss* and the chicken teriyaki sandy special was also amazing. This would be my death row meal!

We drove over an hour to go to this restaurant only to show up with a sign at the door stating it was “closed for a private party”. This is completely understandable but the establishment should update their hours and/or post on their website if there are going to be unscheduled closures.

Cool place but the food is bland. I've tried von blaze burger and the brisket dog. Both were just super rich without much flavor. Way too expensive too.

We got take out because it was nearby our hotel and the food was wonderfully flavourful. We got the lemon pepper drumsticks, the root vegetable salad and a grilled cheese and tomato bisque. If I am in town again I will return. The reviews on this one are legitimate.
My friend and I went 2 weeks ago to von blaze and we didn’t get greeted for over 10 mins AND we witnessed the two employees on the floor bantering about who’s taking our table and how neither of them wanted to take our table. I mean they said seat yourself, then bring no water. The French onion soup was good (only thing), but the customer service sucked. And same, I got 1 drumstick, a glass of wine, and a cup of soup for a little over $40 + a little “complimentary” glass of wine for the inconvenience.

Food is by far the best in all of Morgantown. Burger & drummies are spectacular. French onion soup is straight from an NJ diner (extremely hard to come by in this regiob!!) All food is from scratch. Brunch is the way to go, but dinner is yummy too! For brunch, the French toast & fried bologna is out of this world. We are from NJ/NY & it’s been difficult to find high quality/unique food, but Von Blaze is always our go-to for something fun, fresh & delectable. 10/10 best food in all of Morgantown, hands down!!

You have to come for brunch! We have loved everything we have ever tried! The croque and the shrimp and grits are two of our favorites! A must try spot when in Morgantown.

Von Blaze is a must-try restaurant in Morgantown. Great vibe, excellent drinks and beer selections. I highly recommend The Dom fried chicken sandwich on the dinner menu. But the Sunday brunch menu is just beyond awesome. The fresh juice mimosas are delicious. The shrimp and grits are the best I have ever tried. And get a side of the soft scrambled cream cheese eggs! The only downside is that they are closed Monday and Tuesday because that means I can’t eat here every day.
