A local place we go to once in a while. Since our last visit something food wise has changed and very disappointed in the quality of the meal. Great atmosphere for drinks and apps.

Went for Saturday brunch. Service was incredible. They had a huge drink selection, wife had a apple cider mimosa that she loved. Food was really good - get the churros and thank me later. Definitely would like to go back to try lunch and

Was really looking forward to this place however went by for lunch, requested table for 4 and was told no availability-was not given a wait time, then told to have a nice day. Place is cute inside though—too bad. Probably won’t return. We ended up eating at The Bavarian Inn and had great service :)…

After being told my first choice was not available, I ordered duck tostados, and was shocked at its appearance, even more shocked when tryhing to eat them. The dish consisted of two small, tough "pancakes" - not tortillas, and not crispy - covered with very dry shredded duck and some sort of chopped or shredded greenery - could have been kale. No seasoning, no sauce, no taste - and impossible to eat much of because they were impossible to cut. If I had not had a guest, I would have complained; what I did was, eat a few bites and pay the bill. I live in the area and eat out frequently; have had good burgers here, but now am not likely to go back.

It's a great place, with good food options! Unfortunately my salmon was too salty and the lemonade we ordered for our son was fresh but maybe one day to old. Staff was super apologetic. We will definitely come back as the rest of the food from our party was great!

We enjoy this addition to Shepherdstown-for people and dogs. The ambiance is good. Wait staff attentive at times, distracted at other times. A good place to meet friends and dine without pressure to finish quickly. That is a plus. The wine pour for happy hour was quite generous. The various entrees: Steak Frites, Pork Chop, Fish and Chips were all nicely presented. The steaks were small and not exactly top quality, but that wasn't an expectation. Chocolate dessert really lovely. Great cappuccino. Beautiful bar. A nice Shepherdstown place to meet friends, bring dogs and dine without any fanfare or pretense.

Limited brunch menu. Food took way too long. Sweet potato fries have sugar sprinkled on them so be aware of that. Fried pickles very good. Club sandwich too much bread. Veggie pizza very good.

We eat here often, for all the right reasons, including a solid wine list and a most reasonably corkage policy. Also, and truly special, the only restaurant we've ever patronized that not only permits dogs, but has a separate menu for the pups. Our two always choose the same thing: cheese pupburgers medium rare. What a great place!

Buffet food was cold and way overpriced. There was no option for ordering from menu. Waiter was kind. Other staff were behind the bar on their cell phones while we sat at our table waiting for quite some time waiting for service. Won't go back?

Visiting Lilah is a consistently lovely experience. Our waiter was attentive and sweet, and we enjoyed our food and drinks. Apparently it was dachshund day on Saturday afternoon because three charmers were present. Lilah is hands down our favorite restaurant in Shepherdstown.

Our dogs take us to Lilah's every Sunday for brunch. Not being very imaginative and focused on red meat, they invariably order cheese pup burgers with a dish of water. At this point my wife and I have had everything on the menu and it's all delish. Plus live music! A great staff. Solid ambiance. It's a great way to start a Sunday, after the farmers market, of course.

Fantastic breakfast! It was huge, enough for two. Check out the picture with corn beef...

Such a cute place with really friendly staff. Great themed drinks, good food, and a fun holiday-themed vibe.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options.

We got to the restaurant at 11am for a later breakfast. Took 20 minutes for somebody to come over to our table to take drink order. We ordered mimosas that also took 20 minutes and a few reminders later to be served to us, as they forgot to put our drink order in. We also ordered another set of drinks for them to never come. THEN, it took an hour for food to come out and everything was cold and overcooked. The “manager” who was also the server and hostess was socializing the entire time and all the staff was so fixated on a trivia game going on in the restaurant the entire time. I am in the service industry and serve people everyday & this 100% was the worst service i ever received. All you get is the excuse “we’re short staffed” but you see plenty of people working serving, running food, bartending AND training. They ended up taking care of the bill for us which was nice, but it wasn’t the point. Definitely not worth the two hours we wasted in this restaurant.

I've been there numerous times before but brought a large group this week. We had a single server for 10 guests and the service was STILL far above average. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and experience, and the cocktails here are always phenomenal. In a small tourist town full of elevated dining experiences, this is my go-to.
