We were surprised to learn this restaurant was mexican but it was meant to be because the food was great--guacamole was delicious! The owner that served us was a very kind gentleman.

Food was not good, when we received thicket ticket to pay, they had added a $1.00 to every item. When questioned about it, we were told it was the 4% for using a card credit even tho they did not ask how we were paying. So if you decide to eat here warning you ahead check your receipt. Thus business is a bunch of thieves.

Edit: Been in Pinedale for three days and had Molcajete for three days. I’ve never seen this dish anywhere else and I would eat it everyday! The food was amazing! We got El Rey and MolcajeteI would frequent Patio Grill if I didn’t live in ILIf you are worried about a business staying business by charging 4% if you don’t pay cash, go to the ATM or it’s clear you shouldn’t be eating outReally, 4% on $40 is $1.60.

First off,,, Service was excellent and the ice water was on point. A Mexican restaurant charging extra for refills on chips & salsa is ridiculous. I make better salsa and I’m a white boy. I had the seafood enchilada. It had carrots in it which I’m assuming was just a filler. Not sure there was any seafood in them. We also had chicken taquitos which were microwaved perfectly. Note to self,,, if everyplace in town is busy and you find a place that’s not,,, there is a reason.
The lunch I ordered was really good. It had a nice kick to it without being over powered. The service was great. Food was served fast. Even the chef cane out to ask if we liked our food.

For a small town in Wyoming it's ok. Greasy unflavored tacos. Fantastic beans and small portion of chips and salsa. The margarita was store bought margarita mix with no hint of tequila. Great service

Beware of a couple of things when you dine at Patio Grill. First, they will add an additional 4% to your bill if paying by debit or credit card. That in itself is not too big of a deal but with the margins in Mexican food they should be able to cover that with there prices. Second, they have no guest wifi. I can live with that too but now days places need to have guest wifi. The food however is mediocre. I ordered a chicken burrito and a Chile relleno combination plate. As mentioned in a previous customers review it was pretty plain. I asked if maybe I could get some green chili salsa they said that would be an additional charge. The chili relleno was pretty basic but okay. A little refried beans and rice. The atmosphere was great and the place was clean but they need to step things up if they want to be considered “authentic Mexican” food as their sign says.
