“We had the pleasure of visiting Tracy’s on of the season! Tracy herself came out to greet the crowd, snap a photo and they were open for business. Friendly, organized and clean. Would defiantly go back! Thanks to Tracy and her crew for a great experience.”
“Delicious fresh bread, excellent pasta and meat sauce, a glass of white wine, and fast service. I'm Italian so I was nervous to eat here but my fears were unfounded. My highest recommendation!”
“We're fortunate to have 4 breweries in Juneau and this is one of our favorites. Barnaby is a bit more creative in their beer line-up, but Forbidden Peak has a fantastic large space with great views of Auke Bay, and a solid beer line-up, albeit a bit stagnant / monotone. They have several seltzers for the non-beer-drinkers or gluten-free people in your group, and about 15 beers on tap. They introduce about one new rotating beer once a month or so, but the rest of the lineup feels a bit conventional - they mostly seem to stick to a tight ABV / IBU style range. (Or maybe that's just a winter '23/'24 thing?)If I had the opportunity to chat with the brewmaster I'd love to lobby for a few ideas:Sometimes less is more, you probably don't need 14 beers on tap - a smaller, more diverse line-up is catching on in some places.Any Belgian (tripel, wit, quad, BPA, etc) or farmhouse style (saison) in the regular lineup would be awesome. The occasional sour has been interesting but there are usually no details about the type of sour yeast or style target - they're usually "fruity" beers for some reason. There are 4 different lagers that are all very similar. Props for putting in the extra work lagers require; but I'm not sure having both American lager and German lager is worth it - the American one is just the German one rewritten to be less flavorful (gateway beer?). And the schwarzbier and marzen are just malt variants on the helles. Good beers, but lagers have a lot more potential diversity than that (bock, doplebock, pilsner, kolsch, etc).Thank you for listening and cheers to 2024!”
“Ordered takeout! The sushi, miso soup, and sesame honey chicken was INCREDIBLE. Great egg rolls. Everything was packaged very well and got home still warm. Our new favorite place!”
“Beautiful views from the restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating. Food was delicious! I ordered tempura battered Halibut and chips and Halibut chowder.Parking: Plenty of parking.”
“Pizza was amazing. Service was quick and accurate. Only reason for low atmosphere rating is due to it being located in the back of a gas station convenience store. But highly recommend trying if you are in Auke bay.”
“08-01-22My family and I enjoyed this excursion. The staff made our visit more pleasant; they were willing to cook my salmon the way I asked them to (medium rare). The waterfall was amazing! The trail leading to it was short and easy walk. Enjoy the view!”
“We had dinner here 3 nights ago. Excellent food, so tasty and generously portioned. The workers were patient and helpful. We had never had Filipino food but saw a family who had a table full of yummy looking food. I asked the mom for some suggestions and she was kind and helpful. The shrimp in garlic was plump and flavorful, the rice noodle stir fry was so good we couldn't stop eating it, long after we were too full. But the garlic fried rice side dish was the surprise winner, how can something so complete taste so good? The flan was also excellent. We are going back for another meal tonight. Thank you. They moved locations 2 months ago but yelp still has the old valley address, they are now in downtown Juneau, across the street from the Silverbow Hotel.”
“Ate here yesterday. The Iced Teas were perfect, best I had in 20 years! Learned that it's a relative of ginger and pretty good for you as well. The salad that came on the side with my rice noodles/tail-on shrimp/pork was so fresh and the rest of the dish was light and refreshing, crispy spring roll too. Fresh cilantro and other herbs! My wife got the pork combo rice platter and loved it! She loved the "perfectly cooked" fried egg, "savory but not too oily." Definitely our new favorite in Juneau!”
“I don’t think there is a better Indian restaurant anywhere is the US. The food is authentic and delicious. We are excited to stop there every time we pass through Juneau.”
“The staff were so friendly and very helpful on any questions about the dish. The food was divine and presentation was beautiful. The aesthetics of the food doesn’t take away from the flavor at all.”
“Amazing food at a great price! We ordered the full chicken meal which came with 1 whole chicken, fries and salad for $40. The portions were huge, and the food was delicious. We lived in Peru and miss the food so much and this was just like being back there! Can’t wait to try more stuff on the menu.”
“The most scrumptious Apple Crisp. Seemed Home Made with a scoop of ice cream. WOW. You need to try it. Great service. It's a little walk towards the back to get to the restaurant. You can walk outside for a photo also. Lots of seaplanes were landing. We also got coffee from inside the building at a little coffee shop before we got to the restaurant. It had wonderful lattes.”
“Considering I arrived during rush hour. I'm impressed how well they handled the traffic of customers. However, with that said the food was awesome! My wife had a puff pastry with salmon. Reminded me of a crab ragoons. But replace the crab with salmon. I had the salmon tacos. 10/10 for food. Just a great place to eat. I recommend even when busy. It's worth a wait”
“It was cool to visit the Alaskan Brewing Public House. This place is just the bar, but they did have a shuttle where you could sign up to go to the brewery itself if you had time. When it's cold outside, it's rather cold in here because they leave the doors open. They have a number of beers to try from Alaskan Brewing. I think they serve a bit of food here as well.”
“The staff here are attentive and friendly. I have both eaten in and picked up take out here. The service is always prompt and the food is consistently good. Their fish and chips are top notch. If only it didn't cost $30 for an order of them, I'd give this restaurant 5 stars.”
“Very nice environment and staff glad I was able to find some good sushi and orange chicken here.Parking: Plenty.Kid-friendliness: Yes.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.”
“Even better the second time around, but this time I took my dad. I got the nutty monkey (strawberry, banana, acai, and plenty of peanut butter topped with kiwi, strawberry, coconut, bee pollen and granola); my dad got the perseverence bowl (strawberry, banana, acai, blackberry, raspberry, blueberry topped with kiwi, strawberry, banana, granola, bee pollen, and chia). The acai was a little thicker this time. It takes a few minutes to make and we felt bad that we were holding up the line. Plenty of seating and if you walk outside you can see the birds and the ships for miles. My dad enjoyed it. Now, I'm craving another acai bowl. Good thing I don't work in this building, or I'd be done $$”
“Came in tonight with 15 minutes to close. Just ordered a taco and a glass of wine so I wouldn’t be that guy…. Great service and I liked the flavor on the cochinto taco! Was it cinnamon? I don’t know, but I did like it!”
“paying 30 bucks for a medium cheese pizza ordered at 3:53 started making it at 4:25 someone told another coworker and forgot about it and said he didn't see the ticket. place has gone down Hill. wise thing a manager would due is refund the order. ridiculous, not wasting my time here no more.”
“If you're looking for Asian or Korean cuisine, this is the place you should visit! All the foods are genuine taste, you can't find this much quality food anywhere even in native countries?”
“Snacks were easy to get and same with drinks! Basic airport food! Capitol City Tavern in the same area for all bar needs! The staff was on to of their game, no waiting if they could help it! Enjoyed the views for the seating areas of the airport operations and surrounding areas, Alaska views are great!”
“Stopped by on a cruise and wanted a burger. This place had the best burger and garlic fries 10/10 would love to be trapped in this building and eat this meal for years amazing!!”
“Was not expecting much based on reviews on Trip Advisor. Rooms were small and somewhat outdated but the beds were very comfortable, although really high. Shower pressure was excellent. Breakfast buffet was 21.99 and limited selection. But a simple off the menu was about the same cost. Staff was very nice. Biggest complaint, the housekeeping staff who started very early on our floor, like at 5am, were talking to each other from a distance. If you were hoping to catch a nap or even sleep in, it was challenging. Was in room 309. They do allow storage of a bag until you return which is nice. Located just up the street where there is lots of shops or easy to pick up a bus. Front desk was very helpful when I wanted to print out my boarding pass for airline. Their printer in the main hall was not in service so they printed it at the front desk. I had phone contact a couple of times with the front desk prior to my arrival. I wanted to know if they had a hotel shuttle. They didn't. So I asked about taxi service from the airport. They told me Juneau Taxi was the most reliable. That was very helpful and when I called them at the airport, they were very prompt.”
“Sooo gooood piizzaaaaaa. It's a dense thin crust like no other! And they cover the entire pizza with yer toppings. My fave is pepperoni pineapple try it out bish”

“Devil's Club is excellent. As a local we've been many times. They could use a larger space - on popular nights (pizza night or an event) they've pretty clearly outgrown this space, nice as it is. It can feel packed, standing room only, with no place to set down your beer if you also want to try to have some food.Food options are limited but good if you aren't gluten free (no gluten free options except for the popcorn).”
