The atmosphere for an Italian restaurant seems a little subpar. Overall, great place. Will continue to frequent when i get on that side of town.”

“We love going to new places to eat. We were not disappointed in the least. Yes it is an A la carte place, where everything is sold separately. Yes our bill for 2 sandwiches, 2 fries, and 2 drinks came to around $45.00, but it was well worth the price.The sandwiches were so huge we both could only eat half. The fries were cooked to perfection, nice brown and crispy. The service was fast and friendly.Parking: It is set in a little shopping strip that is still being built. There are a few other businesses in this little area, but only like 20 spots to park.”

Served immediately and quickly. Ordered the fish special. It was outstanding. A lovely grouper with a vegetable ratatouille in a burre Blanc sauce. A little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. If ever back in town, I would definitely eat here again.”

Bless her she is normally there more than anyone should be ( due to short staffing) now I have 2 children ages 3 and 1, and no matter how busy always tries to give them a warm welcome. They love her lol. Bless her I know shes tired. Food is always good and we don't even have to tell her, the wife and I are creatures of habits, but it still amazes me how she remembers so many peoples orders by memory. I d I believe people like her need a shout out, she practically lives there lol. With covid and being so short staffed, shes been there. I think everyone who has worked during all of this deserves praises. Mrs. Tina definitely deserves 5 stars, and the restaurant has gotten so much cleaner and the food in my opinion has gotten tastier!!!!! cant go wrong with those all stars!!!!!!”

It said the kulchas were stuffed, if it was, I couldn't tell”

Pros - Lots of parking - Cozy atmosphere - Great service - Great coffee with a ton of flavors to choose from - A menu board - Indoor and outdoor seating Cons - The biggest con for me was the food selection. They have a few sandwiches, some of which are okay and others not that great. - They don't have much in the way of pastries. Maybe a few muffins. - No self-serve water. - Paper cups - Closed on Sundays This is a 3.5 star place for me, but I always round up for Yelp. For the record, any place I give 3.5 is a place I'd be willing to return to, so they're okay. Their not my go-to place for eats, but their redeeming feature is their coffee. They have a huge selection of flavors that have all been really good, and most of them are available year-round.”

“Huntsville has some great hidden gems and one of those is Hildegard's German Cuisine downtown. This little hole in the wall will blow you away with their rich & authentic flavors made fresh. You can literally hear them pounding out the Schnitzel as you enjoy the orange rolls (you need these in your life). The Sampler was perfect to take a tour of what Hildegard’s does best: Chicken Schnitzel, Polish Sausage and Kraut, and Geschnetzeltes (Hunters Stroganoff). Each one was done perfectly and made you wonder how much you could keep eating. Warm potato salad on the side and I was in heaven. For restaurant week they had the smoked pork chop and WOW was it good. A rich deep smoked flavor that made the fat taste like bacon but left the inside of the chop perfect. Käsespätzle (German Mac-n-cheese) on the side was a perfect way to enjoy an old style dish. The only minor complaint is that their German Chocolate cake just has whipped chocolate icing - no pecan & coconut icing like the real thing.”

Got smoked chicken with blackeyed peas and smoked mac and cheese, along with honey-buttered toast and it was a truly exceptional meal. We've eaten a LOT of BBQ over the years and this place easily outdoes the majority of them, with the super-friendly owners, inside and outside dining and the quality of the food.
