“This was the first time we tried this place and surprisingly it was good we were looking for a place to get some good catfish and some gumbo instead we ended up getting the chicken and a aduli sausage gumbo and alligator bites which were pretty good and the gumbo was really tasty. This place is a must try place if you like Cajun and creole spices you should like this place“

Badd Newz Bbq & Catering Barbecue • $$

“Great food at a fair price and a quick turn around after you order. I love when a food truck finds a core menu and sticks to it because it means you get quality food without a long wait. I had the shredded chicken sandwich plate. Chicken was just right as far as moisture and had just the right spice as it wasn’t bland but just enough flavor to not be over whelming. I had mac and cheese plus beans as my two sides and both where just right for me.“

“I am generally not one to eat at gas stations. I have nothing against them, it is just that they aren't part of my normal pattern for eating. New Orleans Lunchbox is the only one to get into my lunch rotation list. And I am told everything is good there, but I have never gotten past the Jambalaya. The first time I went I bought a quart because I was in a hurry and have never gotten past it on the menu because it is so good. It is thick with a variety of meats and some heat that gives it a little kick without any tears or need for buttermilk to sooth the burn. These people make a tasty mix for Jambalaya. It is at Holmes and Jordan which is easy access from Redstone or Research park and they do have some seating, but I always get mine to go and eat it on teleconferences. Great stuff. Great people. Definitely worth the stop.“
