This is the smaller of the locations and at first glance one might think they are to-go only, but they do have a small dining area. Of the local BBQ places, in my humble opinion Lawler's stays truest to the style of BBQ. The staff here is always helpful and friendly and the food is second to none when it comes to "pulled pork". I've visited this store several times for drive through or take-out orders over the years without any complaints! Their food is consistent across all the stores I have visited. The service is always [again consistently] prompt, and very kind. I always get the smoked turkey, or the pulled pork in either an individual sandwich or as a "plate" with 2 sides, sauce, and a roll or a family meal size. Had to go to Alabama and seen this restaurant and stopped in. Flavorful barbecue, there red sauce was sweet and tangy. There sides were good as well. The staff was warm and friendly. The only thing, I didn't care for their nachos, I thought they were dry. I like liquid nacho cheese on mine and they use shredded cheese. But I did enjoy it and I will go back next time I'm in Alabama.
