Always a pleasure to speak with the person who takes orders as we can ask questions about what is on the menu. My husband and I both ordered a different dinner than before for take out. “My daughter and I came by to try it out. It was fantastic! Excellent seasonings. Everything was good. My daughter even liked the rice and beans...and she is not usually a fan of those items. Now my son-in-law is ticked...he had planned to bring my daughter here for supper...but we came for lunch!! We will definitely be back. Many times!! The Mezcal Nachos were yummy and the guacamole was delight! I consider the guacamole one of my tests of how good a restaurant is. I am so glad we found this place!!“

“My family adores this restaurant! We sometimes go several times a week. We love the food. A new fancy Mexican restaurant was built down the street. It's brand new, shiny tiles, fountains, nice atmosphere, but the food is just like any other Mexican restaurant all over the city....sort of "commercial " for lack of a better word.We love Tulums much better! The food is authenic! The people are very nice with generous smiles across their face. Many of the employee's know us on sight and bring our drink orders without asking . Several even know what we usually order for our meals. When my son passed away unexpectedly, a few of the employees showed concern that they had not seen him recently. It really meant a lot that they paid attention and cared .On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays they have game nights, which we also enjoy. No, it's not fancy with shiny new tiles or a sparkling fountain, but it's great food and great people!!!Parking: It's a small little thing shopping strip with Tulums, a sub sandwich shop, and a hair salon...so plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: They have your standard kids meals as well as Mexican fate with rice and beans.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp right in front along with 2 handicap parking places“

“I recently had a chance to visit Hops N Guac while I was visiting Huntsville for a conference. The food was good and the atmosphere was very comfortable and laid back. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the Huntsville area.“

“It has been a few years since I've been to El Mariachi. Myself, and my grandparents used to come here often, but had since started to going to El Monte because it is closer to my grandmother. First, the salsa. The first thing that caught my attention was they use fresh cilantro which gave a nice kick when you take that first bite, followed by the other spicy nuances that you want in any salsa. For my entree, I had the chicken fajitas. They came out promptly and were still sizzling. I also had the salad with refried beans, fresh guacamole, and rice. The fajitas themselves were great without any additional toppings, but blended with the guacamole, sour cream, and salsa, makes for a delectable little bite. All in all, it was a good experience. Service was prompt and attentative, and the food was good and fresh. While it may not exactly be like a fine wine in that it gets better with age, it certainly has not lost it's touch. Will definitely be coming back!“
