I went in on my son's 11th birthday and our server went above and beyond to make the experience memorable for my son. The food was delicious and the service was great. I can't remember the name of the tall gentleman that served us but he was stellar. We went in on April 29th at around 11: 30am, hopefully he can be identified and be commended for his great work.

I was very disappointed in the food. The hype and expectations around Another Broken Egg were all let down. Here is a quick rundown of what my wife and I had for breakfast on 4/26/2024.Coffee: Good coffee. we had 1 Barista blend and 1 Columbian blend. Both were tasty and hot..Biscuit Beignet: Since this was our first time visiting, a half order was complimentary. Not the typical beignet style I expected. They are akin to a hush puppy, a fried ball of beignet dough. Though tasty.Apricot cakes combo: The pancakes were thick and dense. The apricots were dehydrated and lumped in a pile between the pancakes. The streusel topping and syrup did nothing to help moisten the pancakes up. The eggs were served over easy and were cooked fine but very buttery. The sausage patties were basically ground beef with breakfast sausage seasoning in it. Like someone incorrectly seasoned a smash burger patty.Crab Benny: I saved the worst for last. The crab was so nasty. I'm originally from the Puget Sound region of Washington state. This crab tasted like I licked a rock along the Tacoma waterfront. This was obviously poorly cleaned or left out of the cooler too long. I took one bite and had to continuously rinse my mouth with the glass of water to try to get that taste off of my tongue. I literally almost vomited at the table. The seasoned potatoes were cubed fried potatoes that had a soft exterior and almost no flavor. The building was clean and nice looking. The server was polite but when we mentioned that the food was not good, she basically just said, 'Oh', and walked away. She didn't seem to concern herself with what was wrong with our meal.To write this review for Southerners to get a good comparison, this was the Bo Nix of breakfasts. Over-hyped, flashy media pictures, was a big letdown, felt like it sat around for 6 years before finally being moved on, and left you not wanting to see it ever again.

My decaf coffee was served lukewarm, had to ask for replacement. I ordered the supreme omelet, it was served flat as a pancake. All the ingredients were smashed into the omelet. And the english muffin wasn't even toasted. Had to seems that back. What a dissapointing experience, especially for the price!

I've been to this location several times and have always had a pleasant experience. If you're planning to eat out on a holiday weekend, I suggest calling ahead or making early dining plans as the groups get larger closer to noon as well as the waiting time. Keep in mind this is breakfast or brunch dinning no lunch and dinner.Vegetarian options: Veggie omelet and sides

This place was recommended to us while we were on vacation. It appears to be related to the Toasted Yolk, which we do have at home. The chicken and waffles is a solid choice as is the biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and other big breakfast plate options. The eggs were cooked well/to order. The staff was great and the store is clean. They were busy on a Saturday morning, but we didn't have to wait for a table.
