I've been wanting to try arepas for a while now. I got to try them at 3rd Thursday in Madison. they were delicious! Much larger than I thought they would be. I ordered one shredded beef and one chicken salad arepa. The crispy delicious masarepa dough is just perfect! They stuff them full of the filling of choice and serve them hot! I also tried one ground beef empanada and one ham/bacon/cheese empanada and both were extremely delicious. The two sauces I tried were good. The hot sauce is HOT and extremely flavorful and it added a nice layer of spiciness if one should desire. I highly recommend these beautiful ladies. Look for their bright red food truck on 72 in Madison some time!
The food was delicious and the owners so nice. This is a definite must go place to eat. We will be back!
