“Food was very good. Service was good. We were a party of seven, so it was necessary to put two tables together. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a roaring ice machine, so conversation wasn't great, but we managed. There is a ceiling fan placed near a bright overhead light near where we were seated, so our table had sort of a strobe light effect during the meal that was really distracting. A neighboring table was seated around 7pm (the restaurant opens at 5pm), and we overheard the server tell those guests that the restaurant was out of prime. I did think it was odd, 2 hours into dinner service on a Friday, for a restaurant with Prime as a major part of the name, to be out of that particular cut. All in all a pleasant experience but the atmosphere was just off.”

“Archibald’s is the best barbecue in the southeast! The spare ribs are slowly cooked on an open wood pit. The sauce has a secret recipe that is to die for. I stick with the original order I have enjoyed for years: Rib sandwich, Golden Flake’s Thin and Crispy Potato Chips and a Grapico soda. Yummmmy!!”

“I LOVE Catfish Charlie's! I have yet to try something there I didn't like. The fried green tomatoes are so good, and the Low Country Boil hits the spot every time! The staff is super nice, and always go above and beyond!”

“The food here is extremely hard to beat! My husband and I are just crazy about Chinese food period. But this food was off the charts amazing. While it was expensive, we ate on the food for 2 days. So it was well worth the money. Also, the woman who worked in the restaurant was extremely polite. And our order was ready as soon as we walked in. Everything was hot and tasted amazing!! We are lucky that we live not too far away from here. Because we will def be eating here again very soon! This place should get more than 5 stars. And I would be happy to give it to them.”

“Food was delicious as always. I met the absolute sweetest little girl in the drive-thru last Saturday. She greeted us with a big smile and was so friendly. She said her name was Nae. My bag was missing a soft taco, she apologized and happily got it for me. You rarely see good customer service these days and I greatly appreciated her kind attitude. I wish I could give this 5 stars but while the window was open I overheard another girl making food and rude comments. Every time I come here when she's there she's always being loud, or talking about someone. I'm not telling anyone what to do, but maybe this restaurant should get more workers like Nae. This girl needs a raise!”

“Frida's is one of my favorite places to eat in Northport. I have lunch several times a week. Can recommend this establishment wholeheartedly.Parking: Easy parking in Winn-Dixie shopping center lot. Plenty of pull-through spaces for large vehicles and trailers.”

“I'm a Waffle House fan and this location has their act together. The floors were clean and not slippery. They had plenty of staff working and they were like a beehive each with jobs to do and not a complaint from any of them. The food was cooked just right and refills were provided without having to hunt anyone down.”

“If you are ever in the Tuscaloosa/Northport area you definitely want to stop by Dos Amigos for lunch or dinner! My two favorites are Amigos Special and the Plato Dos Amigos. The dining area is very clean and the staff is very attentive to their customers. You can't go wrong by stopping in to eat!”

“As a former resident of Texas, this Taco Casa although it is part of the major brand is not the same Taco Casa. The menu is not the same, nor is the taste or choices of what you can buy. The staff was great, the atmosphere is great but the food was sub-par.”

“Classic local *meat-and-three* southern diner. Had a lunch there today with my mom. Food is very good, especially the vegetables! (Butter beans, field peas, and fried okra were all yum.) Great service, friendly folks. (They even went to a bit of extra trouble so we could have hot tea.) Lots of tables to accommodate families and groups. It is is one big room filled with tables and chairs, so I can't really say anything about "atmosphere." But I do recommend it, and we'll be back!Vegetarian options: They offer multiple vegetables each day. I do not know if they offer vegan though.Parking: The restaurant is a large building with its own large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Very family-friendly.”

“The worker Heidi is AMAZING. She ran the driver thru, made the orders perfect and answered the phone line the first ring. She made our banana splits as if she knew us personally. “Very slow service and honestly DON'T go to the drive thru. Everytime I get takeout they put the very tiniest pieces of chicken they can possibly find in the box since I guess you won't see it until you get home.”
