“It was a bit late when we stopped in. I was told the machine used for making white gravy was broken. Later in the meal I heard someone say "we found some" . Not sure what that meant. The waiter was nice and attentive. He struggled with the card reader when we went to pay. They were collecting money for an employee and no one seemed to know how to ring it up. The manager was asked to assist twice but never came out of the office. If your asking for donations, make an effort to help YOUR EMPLOYEES collect it.“

“Went thru the drive thru & we were the only car in line & took roughly 20 (+) mins for 4 pieces of fish, 10 pieces of fried shrimp, 2 orders of fries & 2 stuffed crab & a LG drink. They didn't even put hush puppies in the plate. The lady working the window kept wondering off & there was only 1 other car in the parking lot. So I know it wasn't busy. Extremely slow for a fast food restaurant, I don't plan on returning to this location.“

“Outstanding dinner. We unknowingly parked close to the smoker and we smeledl the goodness before we got out of the car. My wife had a wrap and I ate the Beef Brisket Plate. The meat was tender and no fat included in the mix! The cheese grits were top notch and the baked beans were excellent. I wish we had a independent home town restaurant like this in Pell City. if you are ever passing through on U.S. 231, do yourself a favor and stop in.“

“Love going in here for lunch when I get the chance. The girls working are always so sweet and it's a very relaxed environment. My oldest child loves their chicken and fries, but me? Two words: Junkyard Fries. I am obsessed with these tasty fries covered in cheese, bacon, Cajun ranch, pulled pork, BBQ sauce and topped with onions and peppers (although I remove those myself). The food is always fresh and the sweet tea is always perfect. For sure recommend if you are passing through!“
