“Only place around etowah county Alabama to get good fried chicken livers...they are just always cold on the buffet...ate there 3 times.. the first time, the livers were warm and got me to want to come back. The next 2 visits the liver was really cold , and liver isnt good at all cold, so I ate other things..“

“My husband and I ate lunch on 3/16/24. Our food was great and came promptly. They were very busy with different ball teams to the point of nowhere to sit. We got the last table open. They warned us they were behind because they were so busy. They also dealt with a table of rude men that complained the whole time but the handled it with kindness and respect. I will continue to eat here and recommend d them.“

“The smoked chicken is the best I've ever had! So moist, melt in your mouth tender! Just absolutely delicious ? I don't think I've ever had green beans that were perfectly seasoned in a restaurant...until now. The fish is very good, nicely seasoned as well. A yummy sweet potato fluff! My husband doesn't eat sweet potato anything and I told him he had to try it.... he now orders it every time we go! Haven't found anything we don't like yet. They also have daily specials...like meat & veggie plates. You can't go wrong by stopping in for a bite to eat! You won't regret it ?“

“I love Waffle House everything was good once they got going. For some reason nobody was on the grill when I walked into the restaurant. I only gave 4 stars because of the wait it caused having both cooks off the grill. The server was great!“

“This place offers a variety of home style desserts. It also has homemade frozen meals that you can take home and heat up. They usually have chicken pot pies, zitti, chicken casserole, traditional home style foods, and soups. It is a takeaway only.“

“Love this place! Dined there for the first time last night, Fri. Feb 23. Very cool older building with nice atmosphere. Service was perfection. Our steaks and whole dinner couldn’t have been better. I grew up in the area (Southside) and am so glad to see such nice places to go in the downtown area. You are missing out if you haven’t tried it!“

“My favorite times to go are Wednesdays and Thursdays for karaoke. The singers tend to be really talented and into watching each other perform. The DJ is an awesome guy who goes out of his way to play your music for you.One of the regulars is a fun Michael Jackson impersonator. He has some dance moves, the hat, white shirt, and sequin glove and jacket!There are several pool tables and a live band on the weekends. AND the food is really really good! Try the lemon pepper wings ? and homemade tortilla chips. Lots to choose from!“

“Always one of my fave Waffle Houses. Service is great and on time. The staff are always friendly and make you smile even on the bad days. Excellent food and the cooks are super understanding if you have to send food back due to personal preference and have it changed.“

“Had two doctors appointment today so on our way home we decided to stop for lunch . Asked the server to make sure the burgers are done ex well no pink no red we have medical issues and cannot eat raw meat that's not what we want anyway without medical issues. My husband and I was so upset when we got just what we didn't ask for. When I pay for something I think I should get what I ask for not what they want to give me. The meat was raw with just a little brown on the top to cover it. And then the server brought our lunch curbside pickup we sat there waiting for her to deliver she brought some else order before bringing ours and we had been waiting longer than the other person I don't know her name but she's a blonde wear a lot of makeup. Very disappointed with this order and service.“

“The fried okra I had tasted like it had been made for a while. My daughter was late getting off work so she called and we placed her order it was ready when she got there. But the chicken fingers were over cooked. We enjoyed everything else . The waiter that we had was really good I wasn't that many people in there so it was nice to be able to sit across from my daughter and have a conversation without having to yell across each other. The Cracker barrel is my all-time favorite restaurant and this is like the first time I've ever had a bad experience at this Cracker Barrel.Parking: The earlier you get there the harder it is to find a parking place. “I arrived a few minutes after the store had closed and due to an error on Google that said they were open an hour later. the general manager got my food and took care of me. She is to be commended! Most people would say come back tomorrow. Top notch service here!“
