“We ordered BZ cake and Yema Cake for the first time today. Ordering was seamless as well as pick up. We got the "not to share" sizes and they are the perfect size and reasonably priced. The BZ cake is bomb! So delicious! The Yema Cake has the softest and fluffiest sponge cake we've ever tasted in a yema cake (and we've had several from various places!). Packaging is classy. We picked up at their Long Beach location and it's a nice/clean neighborhood. Would order again in the future!“

“We just finished a day at Universal studios and looking to grab some snacks. From the time we walked in, we saw only smiling faces. It clearly was a family owned restaurant and the grandma/grandpa working there were extremely kind. They allowed us to sample a questionable sweet (which turned out to be super tasty), the grandma saw my daughter and decided to give her additional sweets on the spot, the grandpa offered some tea on the house.
Overall, the experience was awesome and everything was very reasonably priced. Next time we go into SoCal, we are hitting up Ambala Sweets for the full meal!

So my box of 4 cookies $19 was brownie batter, not bad, could use some nuts walnuts, or pecans, . My favorite cookie chocolate chip also could use some nuts walnuts or pecans and cooked a little longer. Next was funnel cake. Kind of like that one crunchy, not sure if it really tasted like funnel cake, but I liked it. Then cake batter thins not too bad either.“

Also tried the pistachio chocolate croissant and the sweet scone. Everything was awesome! “Super delicious croissants. They rotate items very often last time I got the spinach salmon croissant it was super delicious. Today they do not have that croissant they have some other stuff, so if you see something that you like, get it, get two because next time it may not be available. The almond croissant was super filling. Usually pastry items are just like bite into air and I got hungry very soon. Not this little bakery everything tastes legit. Got the almond croissant ate it in the car at 9:00 something in the morning and wasn't hungry until 4:00 p.m. get there early because the parking is small and croissants sold out fast“

“Friendly service, amazing baked goods! I was excited to bring my daughter (a vegan), but I had no idea how much I (an omnivore) would love these pastries! I'm not a big baked goods person, but OMG, everything we ordered was delicious!!! We got an Ube ensaymada, a pandan cinny bun, a crinkle cookie, and a pinapig salted chocolate chip cookie -- every one of our choices was incredible!!!

The place is known for his take-out more than dining in . There are about 6 tables only if you had a small party of 4-6 guests.

“I stopped in for morning coffee everyday visiting, fresh brewed coffee was excellent. You first walk in you can grab a tray with tongs and visit the display cases and pick and choose which items you would like to purchase. They also have pre-made breakfast sandwiches which are a shareable size for a very good price. They also will warm it up for you. Definitely a place to stop by for fresh pastries, cakes and cheesecakes. Also have fresh jams for sale.

“As someone who grew up having Starbread in NorCal, seeing them finally down here in SoCal honestly made me so happy 😭 The señorita bread tasted just as good as I remembered too. Warm, buttery, fluffy, and dangerously addicting. That sweet buttery coating on the outside is seriously unmatched.
