“We ordered BZ cake and Yema Cake for the first time today. Ordering was seamless as well as pick up. We got the "not to share" sizes and they are the perfect size and reasonably priced. The BZ cake is bomb! So delicious! The Yema Cake has the softest and fluffiest sponge cake we've ever tasted in a yema cake (and we've had several from various places!). Packaging is classy. We picked up at their Long Beach location and it's a nice/clean neighborhood. Would order again in the future!“

​We ordered the masala dosas—honestly, probably one of the best masala dosas I’ve ever had, perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The chole bhature was equally excellent. Everything was fresh, authentic, and truly mouthwatering.

Everything was still good but miss the extended baked goods. And parking is still bad... Kind of like that one crunchy, not sure if it really tasted like funnel cake, but I liked it. Then cake batter thins not too bad either.“

“I visit Nonna Mercato once a week. They use organic ingredients and make consistently amazing food - their avocado toast, cappuccino and matcha latte are great! Pastas are good too. Highly recommend the almond croissant!

Even though there was a line, it moved so fast & with so many great & friendly employees, ordering went very quickly. “Popped into the Belmont Shore location on a Friday about 7pm. Seated quickly, ambiance nice. Casual pickup side and a dining room.
Interesting menu. Checked out the anchovies on crostini- the sauce overwhelmed the anchovy. The bread basket was delightful albeit you must choose either focaccia or sourdough. Why not one slice of each? Wonderfully toasted (with olive oil) but made me wonder why it was toasted as one gets butter and olive oil to dip the bread in. The lamb pork belly skewers are small but delicious and great with the tzatziki sauce. The highlight was the Panzenella Salad. The soft cheese, fresh tomatoes, basil and crisp croutons were wonderful.
Service was a bit mixed. Why leave us with 2 menus and the drink menu with so little room on our tables. Please don’t take away dishes that still have even a morsel left with today’s prices. I will go back.“

“Consistently the best tasteful quality of products across the whole menu. This place been there for over 45 years. Jack serves the best recepies using the most expensive meat for each of his menu items at a reasonable cost.
The place is known for his take-out more than dining in . There are about 6 tables only if you had a small party of 4-6 guests.
There's no wait if you pre-order on the phone. It's ready every single time. We dine on and order items to take out as well“

“This place is truly a gem, the quality in these desserts is incredible. The only complaint my family has is the portion size. The cake should all be cut to fit the size of the container as this is standard at any bakery that sells tres leches. If not the whole container at least keep a consistent size, we have bought multiple times in the past 3 months and plenty for our family and neighbors to try the different flavors of cakes and desserts and this is the one thing that stood out.

Not to mention, the desserts are definitely overpriced in general/vs the local competition in Downey. Portos and Tropicana have a wider recognition in the city and a large clientele and their prices are lower across the menu. You can get a trio which is a huge slice of cheesecake/tres leches/flan for under $6 and here at Papa Churros a slice of either is $6. If people will support Papa Churros due to quality and taste at least give the customers their moneys worth.

As I stated the quality is great, they definitely have a good baker making some great products from scratch back there. I highly recommend but try to get a slice of something in person vs ordering online for pickup or delivery.“

“The chocolare cake I got here was good. Borderline artisanal with the flower sprinkles, multilayer, and caramel top layer. $12 for a slice. The kitchen in the back looked organized and immaculate. I wish there was a note at the register for which zero calorie sweetners were used.“

Individual bread pieces are fresh and generously large. Be prepared to buy and freeze some of it to eat. One last hint, right after turning at the handwritten sign, drive on thru all the way to the back. It is the last commercial building at the end. Don’t stop until you see the Melrose deliveries trunks 😉“

I arrived right at closing time on Saturday afternoon, but Denise was so kind and despite the time, she helped me out by decorating a cake for my girlfriend's birthday. Denise and the staff were so friendly and really went out of their way to provide excellent customer service. The cake, cupcakes, and cookies were so tasty and fresh. I look forward to visiting again and I would recommend Tasty Treats as a must try bakery in La Habra.“

“Such a great experience! I called ahead to order 9 tortas right before a family trip, and the staff was so sweet and accommodating. They gladly took our order and had everything ready for pickup within just 15–20 minutes!

Ordering was quick and easy, and we were even able to grab some delicious cookies to enjoy with our tortas and mini bagel bites “lonchitas” for the ride. Everything tasted great, the service was wonderful, and it made getting food for our trip so convenient.
