“Great food. Great service. Parking lot present, not the biggest but there is street parking. There was a line, but I would say it was worth it :) they also provided gloves, soy sauce, wasabi packets and wipes !! Seating available but hard to grab when popular. Got the myungnam crab, salmon and bulgogi. Likes the crab best, then salmon. Then I would probably get something else instead of bulgogi but it was still good.“

“My family & I love this place! The food is delicious & they have kim chi fried rice & other items some place don’t offer. The staff is also super nice & you get free delicious ice cream! We’ve eaten at other places & it doesn’t come close to here . The price is so good in comparison too!“

“She is a small but MIGHTY restaurant. We're happy to have discovered this hidden gem in Buena Park and i would say the price for the food was extremely worth it! Lots of korean side dishes which we loved and the crispiness of the meat was so good. Will come back!“

“Delicious little place. Great price! Around $10 for a regular sized plate that fills you up. I loved the Spicy Pork Bulgogi! The Bulgogi Beef is good. The Chicken Teriyaki was alright. They have free self-service Miso Soup. Some of the meat options are a bit oily, but it doesn’t bother me too much. Good customer service. Limited amount of seating inside. Plenty of parking lot spots.“

“Finally made it here!! My husband and I went here for date night recently and we ordered the two kinds of meat, the creamy udon, and the cheese tonkatsu. We happen to come on a Friday night a little after they open and luckily it wasn't busy just yet. The service was really fast and the quality of the meat was amazing! The cheese tonkatsu was a bit heavier so by the time we finished grilling our meats and eating some of the udon, we were too full to finish the cheese tonkatsu. The creamy udon is a beef curry udon with a topped layer of this special cream that has this grainy texture similar to mashed potatoes. It was good to try, but I wouldn't get it again. I'll probably try the other noodles that they offer. I really enjoyed the concept of grilling the meat in front of you to your liking. It comes as a set so it was a perfect meal. Will be back with some friends!“

“Walked in on a Saturday night - it wasn't too busy and we were seated immediately. We ordered the Choose 3 Combination (M), Kimchi Cold Noodle, and Beef Tartare. Service was fast and the staff were great! The Kimchi Cold Noodle was super refreshing and cuts the fattiness of the intestine. The beef tartare was also very fresh and a generous portion. There were only 2 of us so we had a lot of leftovers to take home haha. A solid gobchang spot!“

“Wagyu for such a low price seemed outrageous, though it is obvious it's not A5, it was so soft to chew on I wouldn't mind it for the quantity/ quality/price 10/10, staff are chill and fast paced, the place is normal on the inside great seating areas.“

“I came around 7pm on a Saturday evening and there was a bit of a wait so I think I had to wait about 20 minutes. The taste of the grilled cutlassfish was good, but not comparable to the cutlassfish from Jeju Island in Korea. The bibimbap also tasted average. Seeing that a lot of people around us were ordering steamed monkfish, we thought we might have ordered something wrong. If I come back later, I plan to try the barley rice set meal. The service is good too. Since all the side dishes were delicious, I think the other dishes would be delicious as well.“

“I am not the most experienced with traditional Korean food, but this place is the best I've ever had. It's no wonder even Anthony Bourdain ate here often! The menu is small, which I feel makes the food so consistently great! Out of everything I had, and it was a lot, the fried chicken may have been my favorite! It maybe my favorite fried chicken in general now. Super impressive taste and texture. The sauce was incredible. The service was awesome. Even tho there was only one person working front of house, she checked on every table often. She even gave me tips on how to combine and enjoy my food even more! I really appreciated that ??I'm coming back again and again.Vegetarian options: Many of the dumpling choices are vegetarianParking: It's inside a plaza with plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: I saw families with small children dining in comfortablyWheelchair accessibility: Ground level with easy access and a wide door.“

“KyungBokKung was such a fantastic Korean dining experience. We had 7pm reservations here on a Thursday for 3 people to celebrate a homie's birthday. KyungBokKung is reservation only BTW and I heard they will turn you away if you show up without reservations. However, we were 30 minutes late to reservation but they were happy to take us. You can order food a la carte or you can choose one of their set menu choices. We were interested in either the BBQ Grill option or the Traditional option. After talking to their knowledgable staff we decided on the $89 BBQ grill option. It included the following and its description: Porridge- This was really good and the portion was small. It was a great starter item. Salad and cold soup- The salad had a sweet light dressing. The cold soup was refreshing. Both were great start items. Pan Fried Sliced Beef- It was served with some greens and raw onions. It was pretty good but I could have skipped this dish. Japchae- The glass noodles were done and seasoned just right here. They were pretty good. Tartare- This was my absolute favorite thing all night. I've never had tartare that was so well seasoned and delicious. We all loved it. Scallops & shrimp- They came out in the scallop shell and was a nice presentation. It was refreshing, light, and delicious. It was also one of our favorites. Platter of 9 delicacies- This was a house made wrap with 8 items for you to wrap. It was served with the most delicious honey mustard tasting sauce. I'm glad we tried it but I think next time I can do without it. It was just so filling and we hadn't even gotten to our meats yet. Meats- For meats we went with their beef short rib and rib eye. Both were really good and the nice waitress cooked our meats perfectly for us. They served it with some salt, pickled greens, and some mushrooms. We really enjoyed the meats. Soup- There was a filling soup that came out that we all didn't care for. It tasted like a mix of grits and baby food. We probably could have done without it. Grilled eel- This was also one of my favorites. We each got two fat pieces of eel. It was fatty and delicious. No regrets. Fried fish- These were also really good. I think she said it was mackerel but I am unsure. It was a flaky white fish that was enjoyable. 3 types of Pancakes- included spinah, original flavor, and spicy flavor. I only had the spicy pancakes and thought it was okay. We were just so full at that point. Cold noodles- It was made with nice buckwheat noodles, egg, and some cucumbers. It was simple yet delicious with more vinegar. Spicy Cold Noodles- This was also pretty good. Just make sure to mix and cut with the scissors provided. Stew- It had a taste of light stinky tofu, which I actually liked. But like I mentioned before, we were just so full to eat more of it. It definitely was well done and delicious though Make sure to ask for their house made kim chi to eat with all your food. They were pretty good. Also, at the end we had some mochi and a sweet drink. The waitress felt bad for rushing us since their kitchen closed at 8pm so she hooked us up with some free ice cream macarons. The macarons were pistachio and the ice cream part was a light coconut ice cream. Yum! The service was excellent although we felt rushed. I thought 8pm for a kitchen closing was a tad early. We also ordered a lot of alcohol which were all good. Our meal was about $100-$150 per person. It's definitely a place to splurge. KyungBokKung is a great spot for celebrating with Korean food. The inside is really nice but has a chill vibe. I like that each sitting area felt pretty private. I highly recommend if you are looking for a spot to celebrate and love Korean food. Parking is easy since they have their own lot.“

“I was searching for the seollangtang in OC and I think I found it. I actually love that they have dogani tang (ox knee soup) so that's my go to dish now. Their soup is super quality with real beef bone broth. It gets gelatinous when it's cold which shows it's true quality. Everything tastes so fresh and delicious and is so comforting to eat.“

“We had a variety of options in food and drink and they were all delicious. I feel like everything is leveled up compared to my previous visit. It was very spacious, and This place has a good vibe not to be too loud. Obviously, I don't think there's a better option in OC. I'm so happy to find a new place. The service was great too.“

“This place gets busy so arrive right when they open to put your name down and have patience! They have robots to deliver your items so it cuts the work for the servers because they have a lot of tables to wait. For was delicious. Me and my cousin got the combo with an entree plus soup and rice. Both items can be customized how spicy or non spicy you like it. The rice in the clay pot was so good, bc the bottom crisp up! Love that! Lots of people so keep your kids in your space. This place is good for family gathering or meeting with friends. Menu is limited to kids choices. Will be back soon again!“
“This is such a heartwarming meal with huge portions I could say it would fill up to 2 people. The price is so cheap at $12.99! The broth is rich, the meat melts off the bone, and the spiciness hits the spot. It comes with a side of pickled radish and kimchi. The kimchi is imported from Korea, it's so good I wanted to buy as a side to take home which I will next time I come back. This place is located inside Super 1 Hanam Chain Market, I recommend stopping by whenever near the area.“

“Overall, it's a commendable Korean restaurant. The fish was notably fresh; however, I found most of the side dishes to be unsatisfactory. I suggest they consider reducing the variety of side dishes and increasing the portion of fish on the plate. Additionally, they should offer customers the option to choose a menu with or without side dishes, as many patrons may prefer a simpler meal focused on the fish.“

“On the evening of April 4th, I ordered a cheese cutlet over the phone and arrived at the store. The food was ready, but it was chicken cutlet, not cheese cutlet.I placed my order over the phone, so maybe there was poor communication. The price was different, so I calculated a new price and waited for 5 to 10 minutes before the proper food was ready. There was a male employee at the checkout counter who could have insisted that I had made a mistake in ordering, but he was very polite and admitted that he had made a mistake. They responded so kindly that I actually felt sorry. And at the end, when they packed the food, they also gave me the chicken cutlet that came out wrong. It was a moment that made me realize why Yoko Tonkatsu has been able to do business so well in Fullerton for such a long time.Boss, please raise the salary of the male cashier who worked on the evening of April 4th ^^“

“Very authentic Korean food, so glad Yelp pointed us in the right direction. Craving for some bossom and this place had some good menu items, ordered bossom of course, kimchi stew and seafood pancake, all very good, the banchan was excellent! The service was so friendly and they all speak English. Next time I'm going to try the jokbal for sure. Great first impression and we can't wait to come back for some more delicious Korean food.“

“Dine was so good. I came with some friends and ordered a bunch of things on their menu. We ordered gamjatang, sliced smoked duck, steamed egg, seafood pancake, dolsot bibimbap, and their bossam. Everything was so good and seasoned very well. We came here randomly because we were craving Korean food but definitely satisfied our cravings. I don't really eat duck but their sliced smoked duck was so yummy. Their side dishes were also delicious. I highly recommend this Korean restaurant!!“

“A Chinese skewer restaurant, yet operated more similar to KBBQ and with banchan as appetizers. They have a nice selection of skewers (from meat to organs). Our server was very helpful, especially in recommending to remove spice from a few dishes for the kid (but seriously, DON'T do that unless you are 100% not tolerant to anything spicy). The automated rotating grill was really clear. However, it may not work perfectly for a few bigger/heavier skewers such as shrimp. While everything was great in general, a smoke/fume extractor may be needed...“

“One my favorite restaurant in Buena Park, but it may not be well suited for everyone since I had mix feedback from different people ive taken over the years. Most of their food goes along with beer and/or soju. Aside from that, I think most of their food has been wonderful. The servers are quick and attentive. Togo is pretty quick since I have been ordering togo quite often during covid (have been satisfied on how quick they are). This is a unique experience, its worth the visit. For what it is, it's not that loud which makes it a perfect vibe for having a drink and korean food.“

“They deliver a delightful Bibimbap experience. The dish boasts a colorful array of fresh vegetables, succulent marinated beef, and a perfectly fried egg. The harmony of flavors, coupled with the interactive mixing at the table, makes it a satisfying and flavorful choice for Korean cuisine enthusiasts. The gochujang sauce adds a spicy kick, rounding out this well-executed classic. Highly recommended for a tasty journey into Korean flavors.“

“Hands down the best Korean food in the US! Yes, there might be a wait, but the service totally makes up for it. The staff even help you with cooking your meat, so you can just sit back and enjoy. David, our server, went above and beyond by cooking our meat to perfection. His service was truly exceptional.“

“This place was seriously the best Korean food I’ve had in the states, and I don’t take that lightly. Although prices were pretty high, the taste and quality were so impressive that I would easily recommend this restaurant to anyone living in LA. The banchan (side dishes) were super fresh and short rib stew was to die for! The service was always on top of it and remembered every single thing we asked for, even when we would just point to something. Our waiter took my cold, half eaten corn cheese and refilled and heated it up at no cost. On top of it all, the restrooms were super clean lol. Wish I took some photos but I was too lost in the sauce to remember. Great restaurant and service!“

“I stopped by this place during lunch hour, I was recommended th Gamja Tang Lunch special by the waitress how seem to primarily speak Korean (good sign the food is legit). The plate was huge and it came in with plenty of little side dishes, as you can see on the picture.Price was super affordable for all the food I was served. This is the first time I've tried this specific plate, but based on pure taste buds, the food was great and I would love to come back to try the rest of the menu.“

“Jang Mo Jib (장모집), which translates to "the house of the mother-in-law," has consistently exceeded my expectations. Their Kimchi and 깍두기 (radish kimchi) are consistently fresh and delicious. In Korea, there's a saying that the quality of Kimchi determines the overall quality of the food, and I've always enjoyed the consistently delicious taste of Kimchi prepared by Jang Mo Jib. On this visit, I opted for the ox knee and tendon soup (도가니탕) for health reasons, while my sister ordered the chicken noodle soup (닭칼국수) along with a dumpling plate (만두 접시). The portion of the chicken noodle soup was incredibly generous, and we couldn't finish it all, so we had leftovers to enjoy later. The meal was satisfyingly filling.“
