“Came to Somisomi for the first time and the experience was quite pleasant.Small shop packed with people inside, outdoor seating only.Ordered from right side after entering. They get your name, call you and make the final product with additional free toppings as you like. It was personal and nice.There are four types of soft serve ice creams at somi: matcha (green tea), horchata (rice milk), cookie & cream and ube. I tried ube, despite its artificial color, the taste was soft, creamy and not too sweet, taiyaki (fish shaped cake) was yummy. I liked it.Reasonable price. Friendly service. A relaxing place to hang out with friends and family.“

“Cool place. Never been before, so my son and I were a bit confused. We ended up ordering the fish waffle (don't know what it's called, but it's a waffle shaped like a fish that your soft serve goes in) with lavender soft serve. I got mine in a cup (they turn the cone upside down into the cup and give you a spoon) and my son didn't. It's a very healthy serving so I suggest sharing it ... in a cup. It melts pretty quickly... soft serve being soft and all. Waffle was ????, soft serve was also good, it was just too much. Neither of us were able to finish -we'd just had dinner. Check it out.“

“Super good!!! First timer here and it was really good!! Tried their Matcha red bean and it was very refreshing after a 7 mile hike! Very big popping spot which is understandable.The only thing I have with this shop is that it’s super stiffy in the shop. It feels humid and poor circulation. Otherwise this place is a 10/10. Loved it!Parking is a bit difficult cause this shop is located inside a small plaza but it’s not terribly bad to find a spot with patiences.“

“The best cookies I’ve had in a while. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but these are so so good! I love the new variety of flavors every week and how they’re so unique and different than the generic cookies you buy in the grocery store. The price isn’t too bad either! For a box of 6 cookies it’s $22 but the cookies are HUGE. I can never finish one by myself so I leave them to the rest of my family. Also pro tip download the crumble app so you can earn free rewards. 100 points equals to $10 you can use towards the cookies.“

“I was really craving some ice cream mid afternoon and saw Fosters Freeze was nearby with plenty of dessert options. They offered a new dipped waffle cone with peanuts which sounded exactly like what I wanted. You can pick vanilla, chocolate, or a mixed swirl for the ice cream flavor, costing a little over $5. It was quite messy to eat since it was melting quickly, but it definitely hit the spot. The peanuts are a nice touch and added a salty, nutty crunch. Fosters Freeze offers quite an extensive menu and the workers there are all very nice and efficient despite the consistent busyness of customers and orders. There is a good amount of parking available and the lot is kept clean. I don't think you're able to go inside the restaurant but there are a few tables outside for dining.“

They are always on top of the new flavors every week and customizing it to the unthinkable. Cookies are always tasty and flavorful it could be at times be on the sweeter side, so you can definitely split this up into acouple of meals. I prefer the chilled versions and I've never found any to be dried out. I recommend signing up for their rewards program/app to get up to date on the new flavors. Prices are on the higher side but you at paying for the quality and the specialty item. Wish they offered more promotions or deals. And also wishes they brought back in rotation flavors that are super popular and fan favorites.“

She recommended Rocko's for dessert and I couldn't pass up on trying an ice cream taco! Right when I stepped in, I knew this was a popular spot. Artsy paintings, a neighborhood vibe, and happy customers rolling in and out are what you'll find. There's limited bar stool seating inside but most take it to-go. Lines can be long or short, but turnaround is fast. They have desserts for all--dairy, vegan, and gluten-free options galore! You're able to build your sweet treat or get one of their signatures. I chose to enjoy a Tiny Ice Cream Taco, my flavor of choice being the Vegan Matcha Oreo. For toppings, I had Dark Chocolate and Sprinkles. The tiny was the perfect size and it can get quite messy! The matcha was prevalent and not too sweet while the taco had a nice crunch to it. My friend enjoyed her Tiny Ice Cream Taco as well! For those craving ice cream and a unique way to eat it, I recommend Rocko's Ice Cream Tacos! Find them easily off Park Ave. with street parking.“

The atmosphere and food was every bit what you would hope to experience and more.My wife and Son were back at our hotel room quarantining for my son’s heart surgery he was going to have the next day. I had a request to get Ice cream. At first I was overwhelmed with all the crazy options and of course My wife and son couldn’t make things simple on me and get a generic ice cream. I had to sample nearly every type and provide feedback over the phone. And yes I mean every type, such as the Turkey and Stuffing as well as the Blue Cheese and Pear. The employee felt my discomfort with asking for more and more samples and he went out of his way to constantly assure me that he would love to get me as many as I needed. One would say its because he had a sensitive heart to my situation, however I did not bring my situation up until after all the samples so he would have perspective to why I needed to try so many.I am not one to go to the same place twice when traveling, however I can tell you that I am going back before we head back home.“

Saw Ice cream is made in an instant using ice cream milk and Nitrogen gas. Fancy to look at. We took Smores ice cream with biscuits, herseys and marshmallow and old fashioned Vanilla ice cream. “My experience here was great. Despite the business and the long lines, the associate still let me try multiple flavors and was very patient with my indecision. I got the Dole Whip and some of their other ice creams and it is very good. There are a lot of options to choose from in flavor and you're also able to combine the ice cream and the frozen yogurt in the same cup! Its in a nice spot next to a fountain with plenty of places to sit and afterwards a beautiful neighborhood to walk around. Definitely a great spot to share some great ice cream!Parking: Downtown Willow Glen is a bustling place with lots of different venues on the strip that its in. Most of the parking will be far away from the ice cream parlor and probably along the street. I parked far away but I know there are closer spots that you might have to pay for.“

It was my first time trying this location.Since all the Somi Somi locations I have been to only have take-out, I like this location because it is in a temperature-controlled mall. I prefer it to eating ice cream outside in freezing temperatures and even to eating outside in warm weather because everything melts so fast. You also have more open mall space to wait.This location is bright and clean. It had one flavor that the Cupertino location didn't currently have. My favorites are the cheese taiyaki and the red bean soft serve.“

“I used to be obsessed with Pinkberry and was so upset when all the locations in Atlanta shut down -- now there is only the airport location remaining and if you know how big ATL airport is -- no matter how frequently you go, you will pretty much never get to have Pinkberry's.Knowing the froyo trend is over -- I still know Pinkberry has a pretty decent presence in the West Coast so when I was in California, I knew I had to give them a stop. This Pinkberry is located inside the mall so it's perfect for anyone who wants to get a "healthy" dessert in after their walk/shop around the mall.I still to this day believe that the original tart flavor is undoubtedly the best flavor and I still think that Pinkberry has the best original tart flavor. I was able to put some toppings -- like mochi, strawberries and popping boba to make my froyo complete and voila!Employees who were working there were also very kind and friendly and I was able to get my frozen yogurt pretty quickly so thank you to the staff who was working there! While there isn't a froyo hype anymore, Pinkberry is ALWAYS a classic and I cannot wait to get some more of this when I get the chance!“

“WildBerry is a wee fro-yo shop that's not a chain as far as I know. Clearly their name is a take on Pinkberry, but unlike the corporate fro-yo franchise, here you get to pull the levers to do your own mixing and matching of the frozen treat. Price per ounce is competitive and even a smidge less than Yogurtland and Pinkberry. For flavours, there's nothing particularly Wild or unique, but what they do, they do very well. The few fro-yo stations all worked smoothly, dispensing every flava in a consistent ideal texture. Every one I tried was Berry yummy: cappuccino, cake batter, strawberry and plain tart.Staff on a weekend afternoon are young (maybe teenagers?) cheerful friendly and extremely customer oriented. I truly appreciated their careful hygienic practices using tongs to fetch things and, upon my request, finding gloves to use at the machines. The tiny shop is kept spic and span. You can't sit inside but no worry because there's an abundance of small benches spaced all throughout the retail complex. On a mild beautiful day, great to sit outside and people watch, or in my case, pet watch. We saw several dogs and I got to say hi to and pet a couple of them. Thanks to Yelp pal Steve for discovering this gem of a fro-yo place, a refreshing change from the big chains. Cute clean unassuming and worth seeking out in Los Altos. Look for Starbucks (at this shopping plaza), and Wild Berry is directly around its corner to the right.“

The location is prime- in Town and Country Shopping Center, across the street from Palo Alto HS and Stanford University. The shop was clean and our "scooper" was very nice.
