“Just tried two delicious pot pies from Pot Pie Paradise & Deli. The flavor in the crust to the flavor in the pie both compliment each other. They are reasonably priced allowing me to try many more as there are over 30 choices from beef, pork, chicken, turkey, lamb, seafood and vegan just to name a few. The pot pie desserts look amazing as well. I can't wait to visit again.“

“My dad was craving sandwiches for a quick lunch so I thought it was finally time to check out Winton Deli. This deli is hidden in the industrial part of Hayward so it's easy to miss if you're not looking for it. It looks like their main customer base would be people who work around here anyways. Tip for anyone who uses google maps to get here from Hesperian: you don't have to go around all the lefts/rights they tell you. Just keep going down Winton until you eventually turn left into the lot. The deli itself is super spacious. There's a coffee counter in the middle but it wasn't open when I stopped by around lunch and truthfully, it looks like it hasn't been open in a long time. There's tons of inside seating for anyone who might want to dine-in. You'll order at one "window" then pay at the end of the counter and you can pick up a drink and chips on the way. The menu is displayed behind the counter, but it was sort of hard to read (and kinda dirty). They also have a menu printed out at the register. I went with the Southwestern Chipotle Pesto Chicken (chicken breast, melted provolone, tomato, lettuce) and I got it on a dutch crunch instead of the sourdough roll. It was a good sandwich with fresh flavor, though I wasn't really getting much pesto or much chipotle. I also wish there was more meat... or at least more evenly distributed meat. As far as portions go, this isn't the biggest sandwich. It was enough to be satisfied, though, so maybe that's all you need! Prices are not too bad at about $8-9 per sandwich. I'd still return and next time I'll try a different sandwich!“

“Pick-A-Deli is easily the best deli in the area! Their sandwich selection is great and of very high quality. They also have nice daily specials that you can choose from. The service here is great and you can feel the love that they put into preparing your food. I've met the owners a couple of times and I can honestly say that they are some of the nicest people that you'll ever meet. They always ask how I'm doing. My favorite thing about the deli is the huge beverage selection that they have. As someone who is indecisive about what they want to drink for the day, Pick-A-Deli provides a plethora of options. Definitely stop by to get your sandwich fix. You won't regret it!“

“I love me a good sandwich in any form and when I was in the area I was surprised to see not too many options in Castro Valley. I came close to giving up and driving away right before I found this Italian Delicatessen. Thankfully it met all of my expectations! These sandwiches are LOADED! They are not shy with the veggies or deli-meat. I tried 2 sandwiches, the Dutch crutch was amazinggg. The sourdough was a true sourdough bread. Loved this place and will definitely come back!“

“The food was very good. The tuna was tasty could use a little more seasoning/salt but still good. The roll was a little on the side of getting stale. Just didn't have that very fresh flavor. The coleslaw was delicious!!! Had little bits of apple in it for a great sweet bite. All together I definitely come back. Service was great too. Ordered over the phone with no problem. The woman double check to make sure everything is asked was correct! When i got there to pick up my order she was very nice and cheerful“
