“This place does not disappoint.I got a DoorDash delivery of chicken fajitas just a little bit ago . The generous portions will allow for another meal or two out of this the next day or so .The chicken was seasoned beautifully, as well as the tender peppers and onions The corn tortillas and toppings were fresh and yummy . Give this place a try you will be glad you did .Bon appétit“

“I only ordered takeout from here, and those small encounters with staff have been pleasant. They are friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious. I appreciate the pickled vegetables they add, which brings brightness to a sometimes heavy meal (I tend to go for something especially cheesy). Highly recommend!“

“I really REALLY recommend this place for family and friends the food is AMAZING ever since I tried the tacos I could not stop going here every day. The service is ok there in the middle for fast food because sometimes they have to many orders and they go really slow but over all it’s great . The atmosphere needs a little more decor kinda boring just seeing a table and you food.“

“This place is a hidden gem. Atmosphere was small and quaint with dine in option. Very clean and comfortable. I had Carne asada with scrambled eggs/cheese. To my surprise tortillas, rice, and beans were included too. Not to mention grilled onions and green peppers. The delicious food was washed down with Mandarin drink. I would definitely stop in again if ever in the area considering the menu was extensive with halal and Mexican options.“

“So we were in the area car shopping and we got hungry as usual. I went to my yelp my reliable source and I saw this place. One other yelper said a gem and it truly is. It felt like we just discovered a treasure chest. Upon arrival I was a bit worried but im so glad I went in the driveway. The people were really friendly and welcoming. There was music and it was superbowl Sunday so everyone had their jerseys on. It's beautiful to see family get together. The tortillas are hand made the meat was perfect tender soft. The salsas were super delicious. I tried their oil based chile and let me tell you I make my own and have my secret pinch I use cinnamon on mine and I tasted peanuts on theirs and it was really good. We will definitely be back if we are in the area or if our tastebuds want some more. I cook at home but we were busy today and hungry hangry at some point. Lol but for sure super good and worth the money . Definitely recommend to my yelpers.“

“Parking lot available. Pretty busy during lunch which is a great sign. We ordered 8 tacos to share, $28 total. I had the lengua and tripa tacos which were awesome. Generous portion with great pricing. The tripa was extra crispy, would totally come back for more. Would be nice if they throw in a chips and salsa bar lol“

“Craving satisfied! I recently indulged in the mouthwatering pupusas at Los Cocos and they were a hit. Made to order, each bite was a delicious blend of flavor and freshness. I savored both the classic bean and cheese pupusa and the mixta, both soft and delightful. To complement my meal, I opted for a maracuya drink, which was sweet and refreshing, perfectly complementing the savory flavors of the pupusas. Despite being pre-made, the agua frescas were served in generous portions and tasted as if freshly prepared. The spacious layout of the restaurant provided ample seating, making it a comfortable dining experience. Overall, a delightful culinary journey that left me fully satisfied and eager for a return visit.“

“CAPIRO'S POLLO ASADO.SORRY FOR THE TYPO ABOUT HIS NAME. HIS NAME IS CAPIROJust off of the corner of Calhoun and mission, in Hayward, directly underneath El Portal liquor store's giant sign, is a gem that real roast chicken lovers will appreciate. This small, homespun stand has the absolute best roast chicken in the East Bay hands down. Cooked the flavorful perfection by the master himself, this is chicken with the flavor that the big chains try to replicate but cannot. Pollo loco, and chicken on fire, simply cannot compete with Tepiro and his incredible roast chicken. What's more is that he makes some of the best salsa caliente, a smokey slightly tangy old school Mexican salsa that goes perfect with the chicken. He's only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 11:00 to 6:00. Hours may vary. Don't miss out on this. This is The kind of home cooked food we need more of in Northern California.I probably spelled his name wrong. Please forgive me! And go there anyway!“

“Good: it was huge. Like the size of burritos back in 08' I'm surprised I finished it. Very tasty salsa bar. Sometimes you know the food is good if they salsa looks full and there is variety. I called in and asked for a super steak with extra sour cream. It was ready when I was there. The total was about $17 and I asked for chips and if I could eat there. She provided chips. Burrito was really moist Bad: the meat was that wet meat that was sitting in a pan so although there was a lot of it, it wasn't too flavorful as you would prefer the dark sear on it. It was a straight forward fill you up burrito. The ingredients weren't spread out well so I got that sour cream / guac on only one side 7.1“

“I recently learned that mexican sushi was a thing so I really wanted to try it. Ironically there was this hidden gem near by! The customer service was great and food was delicious. We came on a Wednesday less than an hour before closing time 7:45-7:50ish and the kitchen was still open. I got the culichi roll, mi sinalao and shrimp in the red sauce. I surprisingly enjoyed the flavors of the bakes mi sinaloa roll more. The red sauce for the shrimp was well flavored and the tortillas seemed freshly made from scratch. Overall we really enjoyed our first experience easting Mexican sushi at this restaurant! The salsa with the chips was really flavorful too, I would go just for the salsa! Many more delicious items to try so I shall be back and will recommend to those who want to try mexican sushi aka Sinaloan sushi. I'm glad I chose the right restaurant to try it!“

“Delicious + fresh fruit!!! I wish I could have gotten a picture while it was in the bag (before I put it onto a plate at home)When I came in, I saw the cash only sign. I was super bummed, but the kind woman in the front allowed me to Zelle her!! Not sure if it was because she was the owner though so next time I come back I'll be prepared with cash. The Tostilocos were $8 which is the average anywhere you get these. This place should have 5 stars. Yummy antojitos and clutch for when you can't find our hard working churro man/woman walking around Pregnancy craving satisfied!!“

“Fresh, hot food! The only down side was that the flan had a slightly burnt taste & it was a bit pricey. Other than that the rest of my food was delicious.“

“My mother-n-law got us hooked to this spot it’s absolutely my favorite place to get burritos“
“This is a fairly new Arteagas here in Hayward on A street. This is usually the store I go to when I need to grab something quick to cook, since the store is literally a 4 minute drive from my place. The location itself is pretty clean all the stuff that works there is really nice, they are very welcoming as soon as you walk in you are Greeted. The grocery section isn't really big it's actually rather small to be honest. They do however keep their shelves stocked. One of my favorite things to get here is the fresh baked sweet Mexican bread that is freshly made every single morning. This has the softest sweet bread I have ever tasted at any Mexican grocery store. Not too sure how they make their bread compared to everyone else but this is a spot to get soft pan dulce! They also have a small Taqueria. The people that work it are nice the food is tasty, their Asada is delicious. I personally don't like the fact that they use their microwave to heat up half of what they serve or anything that comes with cheese. Maybe it's just me but that sorta throws me off a little. They do have a nice and organized meat section along with Creamery section Overall, this will be my quick pit stop if I ever need to grab something to cook while in a pinch.“

“This place is my go to place for take out pupusas on the weekends, but I finally had the chance to dine in for lunch. The parking lot is really tiny, but since it was middle of the day during the week I had no trouble finding parking. The restaurant entrance is located off of A st. and is pretty small. There were about 8-10 tables inside and there was one other person dining in. The service was really good and they were very attentive. Pupusas Revueltas - 9/10 - I like their pupusas because they put a good amount of meat inside and also do not come out burnt like at other pupusas locations. Their salsas add a lot of flavor as well. Wet Steak Burrito w/Red Sauce - 7/10 - The burrito was good and had a lot of sauce, but it didn't really have anything that made it stand out.“

“I tried this spot out because I heard that it was a Michelin bib restaurant. I think their food was pretty solid, but nothing out of this world. I ordered a super burrito with lengua. The lengua was nice and tender, definitely worth the extra cost. The salsa it came with was pretty spicy and had a nice flavor to it. There are no chips that come with it, at least for take out. The worker that rang me up wasn't very welcoming, but she was quick and efficient. The inside of the restaurant was clean. If I were to come back I would try dining in.“
