“I came here on a reservation as this restaurant is incredibly small. There are only 2 tables that can hold a group of 4 each, maybe 2-3 tables that can seat 2 people, and a couple seats at the chefs counter. I heard the server quote a wait time of 1.5 hours to a group who had come in without a reservation looking for a table of 4, so make sure you make a reservation! After ordering, it takes quite a long time for the chefs to make your sushi, I think we waited around 30 minutes? But that's because everything was cut and made fresh. Make sure you have good company to chat with or else the wait will bore you!For a group of 3, we got 2 nigiri combos, 1 sashimi combo, 1 spicy salmon maki roll, 1 negi hama hosomaki roll.1. Nigiri combo - 8/10. This was a great value for for only $25! You can pick 7 nigiris as well as a chef's choice maki roll. I really enjoyed the Kanpachi, Kurodai, and Ika because they torched the top for some smokey flavor. Our maki roll of the day was the salmon & shiso hosomaki which had a hint of perilla leaf flavor! For the amount paid, it was definitely worth it!2. Spicy salmon maki roll - 9/10. This isn't your standard spicy salmon roll where they mince the salmon with some spice. These are strips of whole salmon so you really get to taste the meaty parts of the salmon. It was my favorite dish of the night!3. Negi hama hosomaki roll - 6/10. We all didn't think much of it. It was pretty bland and I thought that the rice in the roll overpowered the fish. It is a pretty light fish in the first place, so you won't be able to taste it much.Overall a great choice if you want some cheap and beautifully presented sushi! The menu is relatively simple and small“

“Big craving for Churros especially after watching "The Brother's Sun"Best churros in the Bay area and I've ever tasted is in Hayward! It was a street vendor and his Google/Yelp hours are off since someone was controlling them. He is a very nice and sweet man! He is usually there by the Wah Jee Wah/ Mexican supermarket across the Hayward Chime cemetery from 12 noon to 7pm and off for one day either Monday or Wednesday or when it rains. It was crunchy and flaky. Airy. Good balance of a touch of saltines and sweet sugary goodness and cinnamon. $10 for a bag of happiness ❤️“

“It’s a small restaurant with only 4 to 5 tables. The interior feels old but very clean and cute. The server is a cute Japanese grandma and the chef is a cute Japanese grandpa. Food presentation is humble, it makes you wonder is this gonna be good at first, but after you take a bite, you know it’s good quality. My friend and I ordered the sashimi dinner plate and two sushi rolls, all very tasty and priced reasonably. Really likes the food the vibe here and will definitely come back.“

The generous portions will allow for another meal or two out of this the next day or so .The chicken was seasoned beautifully, as well as the tender peppers and onions The corn tortillas and toppings were fresh and yummy . Give this place a try you will be glad you did .Bon appétit“

“We did a super short trip nearby and a friend told us about the fame of this bakery so we decide to stop by... we ended up buying several of their bread (pan dulce) including their Polvorones (I'm assuming it's their signature since they have it as their name), we couldn't resist either the "bolillos" wich were just made. As mexicans who know about sweet breads, we totally approve this place (we started eating in the car/parking lot) so, whenever we do another trip nearby we'll stop by this bakery and maybe next time we'll try the food (this was a quick trip and we needed to head back home). The employees are super friendly and their service was EXCELLENT. The local is clean and even tho is small there's good space“

“Finally got a chance to stop by as it is a little bit off the beaten path. Ordered a 4 piece wings (Korean spicy), fries, and bulgogi kimbap. Wings were saucy and good. Fries were thin and crispy. The bulgogi kimbap was fresh and tasty. I actually drove back on the way home for another order of the kimbap. Nothing survived long enough for a photo.“

“Just tried two delicious pot pies from Pot Pie Paradise & Deli. The flavor in the crust to the flavor in the pie both compliment each other. They are reasonably priced allowing me to try many more as there are over 30 choices from beef, pork, chicken, turkey, lamb, seafood and vegan just to name a few. The pot pie desserts look amazing as well. I can't wait to visit again.“

“This hit the spot Tri Tip Cheese Fries: Medium spiciness, was not spicy at all, I dont taste the cheese, tender tri tip, delicious tri tip, Long krinkly fries (doesnt get soggy) (but some times need to rip apart because its hard to pull out), im not a fan of bbq sauce in general. But didnt get in the way of my enjoyment. Extra notes: Soft spoken cashier, old guy that brooms the place and chat with customers. (Didnt chat with me) Southern accent Water is bottle only and I ordered it without bringing it to the cash register so I was surprised when they never gave it to me, you have to grab it yourself. Best scenario is I grab the bottle and order it alongside the dish. Dine in is just takeout but without the bag.“

“We had a craving for pupusas at work yesterday and decided to order out. The whole team pretty much ordered some and they were delicious! I tried the queso y frijole and the pollo y frijole. They were so flavorful and comforting. The only problem is that the forgot to include my coworker's side order of plátanos. I'm sure they'll have a chance to make it up, because we'll definitely be ordering from them again!“

“The little spot was full of surprises. I came here to meet up a friend and everything here was great! The staff were so friendly and made sure we were ok and even helped up with our food. I orders the pork bulgogi and also the sausage stew. FYI pork bulgogi is a little spicy so if you get it expect a little heat. It was very good though. As for the sausage stew. You might want to share this one with a friend because it is a lot. Perfect for those cold days or if you have a pretty bad hang over. This place definitely reminds me of my grandmas cooking when I was little. I'm so glad I came in to try it. I'll be back when I'm in the area.“

“Realized I forgot to take photos of the food because I was enjoying every bite! It was my first time here and we had a large group of 16. Staff was friendly and accommodating for us. Food came out fast and each dish was told to us as it came out so we knew what we were eating. Portions were good I especially loved the green beans and the salt and pepper pork chop. I didn't even have to ask for more water as they came around multiple times throughout the dinner. For dessert they even brought out mango pudding which was a nice surprise. Would definitely come back to try dim sum.“

“Great Thai in the East bay! I have a go-to delivery Thai place closer to my house but I wanted to give a new place a try. Chai Thai has a great menu, from appetizers to curries to noddles. I ordered Pad Thai with pork, side of fried eggs and an order or chive cakes (gui chai). The food arrived ready to eat and all was delicious. The Pad Thai had great flavor. I love when you get a nice portion of each of the ingredients; meat to tofu to eggs to green onion to sprouts. Each bite had everything. Can't wait to order again from Chai Thai!“

“I ordered the most amazing Pesto Veggie Benedict. It was outstanding! My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. The steak was the size of a salad plate... way too much for one person to eat. I'll definitely order the Benedict again, but he won't order the steak. We weren't impressed with their choice of music. Thus, they only get 2 stars for atmosphere.“

“Pizza and Mexican food? Say less.. Similar to another review we've been living here for about 5 years and had only just tried this pizzeria the other day. Comparable pricing to other pizzerias around. We got a large with chorizo, pepperoni, jalapenos, and onions (I think this was the Deluxe?). The next day my stomach was super upset but hello, I was eating a pizza with chorizo and jalapenos on it. My stomach and GI tract were not happy but it was so worth it. When we went inside to pick up the food, there was a more updated menu -- we were only able to place a phone order on what we saw based on the menu images on Yelp. Little did we know there were more to choose from! Would love to try La Toreada or La Valiente.. They also have things like hot dogs, burgers, wings, tortas, burritos, quesadillas, tacos.. they have it all.. Would love to come back and try more. It's so close to where we live.. Attaching an updated menu.“

“Han Yang is a great place to sit down for dinner and enjoy some truly delicious Korean food. One thing I always note about a restaurant is the patronage and Han Yang appeared to host a largely local Korean community of diners and to me that signals authenticity. And the food shows it- the selection of banchan is delectable and meat are delicious and perfectly marinated (recommending dwegi bulgogi or kalbi). I appreciated that you could get the meats cooked at your table or in the kitchen... I left it up to the chef and everything was prepared to perfection. I also tried and loved the seafood pancake and bibim nangmyeon. We were also greeted by warm and attentive service. I felt at home eating here. I recommend giving this place a try because it may be my favorite local spot for Korean food now. Thank you!“

“This might be a gas station but the way they inject the chicken with seasoning makes a wonderful flavor and not to spicy like popeye's is. They have large boxes of chicken for your family to have leftovers, and your going to want them tomorrow. Deals on 25 pcs or more. Easy to fill up and get dinner at one stop!!“

“Good: it was huge. Like the size of burritos back in 08' I'm surprised I finished it. Very tasty salsa bar. Sometimes you know the food is good if they salsa looks full and there is variety. I called in and asked for a super steak with extra sour cream. It was ready when I was there. The total was about $17 and I asked for chips and if I could eat there. She provided chips. Burrito was really moist Bad: the meat was that wet meat that was sitting in a pan so although there was a lot of it, it wasn't too flavorful as you would prefer the dark sear on it. It was a straight forward fill you up burrito. The ingredients weren't spread out well so I got that sour cream / guac on only one side 7.1“

“I tried this spot out because I heard that it was a Michelin bib restaurant. I think their food was pretty solid, but nothing out of this world. I ordered a super burrito with lengua. The lengua was nice and tender, definitely worth the extra cost. The salsa it came with was pretty spicy and had a nice flavor to it. There are no chips that come with it, at least for take out. The worker that rang me up wasn't very welcoming, but she was quick and efficient. The inside of the restaurant was clean. If I were to come back I would try dining in.“
