Our eyes were bigger than our stomach, so we ordered more than enough food, but we had no regret!Highly recommend the bolognese pappardelle! Do not think of this pasta as of the regular bolognese pasta! It is not a red sauce based but cooked with a 200-year old family recipe! White sauce with ground meat and peas. It was divine! I would definitely order it again and again!The fungi pizza was also delicious! Came with six good sized slices. I loved the mixed mushrooms and the cheese! Good to share or enjoy on your own!Please do note that the restaurant serves pesto bread when you sit down. Be mindful of the large amount of food if you are not hungry hungry. We came hungry (normal hungry haha) but an anti plus two entrees filled us up quick, and we had to take about half of our food home.Three items plus two drinks came to be around $110 with taxes and tips. “We finally found a Shrimp Po Boy sandwich as good as one we had in the Creole/Cajun territory of Sulfer, Louisiana. We also ordered a Shrimp Cocktail, House Salad, Clam Chowder, Red Beans & Rice, French Fries and Crispy Fried Oysters. Everything was fresh and extremely delicious. The service was stellar and the food came out perfectly timed, our server was welcoming and friendly. The inside of the restaurant is clean and decorated in a visually appealing manner with light-hearted signage, sconces, foliage and a floor to ceiling glass front wine display room. There is also a good amount of natural light coming in from the windows around the restaurant. We will dine here again!”

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.”

It was exactly what I needed during the busy conference. Fresh fruits, delicious acai base, with amazing chia pudding and crunchy nuts! Most importantly, the best ingredient is the love and passion with which the owner (who is the single employee at this stage) makes this for the customers! How to create a perfect dining experience with beef kabob, rice, and a tomato? Using quality ingredients and traditional cooking method help. The meat was superbly seasoned and cooked, and it's full of flavor and never dry. The rice was fluffy and light, but nuanced with fragrant spice and butter. The grilled tomato was so juicy and roasted that it's the best accompaniment to the earthiness of the meat. Even with the takeout order, we were supplied with two packets of sumac to sprinkle on our beef and chicken kabob. We ordered ahead by phone and the chef was just putting on the finishing touches when I arrived. The food was piping hot even after the 18-minute drive home. The dining area was spacious, and there were a few tables outside. Parking was not an issue in this shopping center.”

Fast forward to pick-up time, and holy moly, I was floored! This cake wasn't just a cake - it was a work of edible art! The colors popped, the decorations were cuteness overload, and let me tell you, it tasted like a slice of happiness. Was sorry when the owners at the time closed it, but remembered they had another one located in OC, I finally tracked it down. This is the same brand and even has the same decor, I remember the paintings and green paint. Now I drive from Long Beach every week or two and pick up extra to bring home for later. I'm addicted, always the same quality and always helps my cravings.. I love this place.”

I ordered a pitaya bowl which seemed all natural but I mentioned I was doing a detox and I couldn't have sugar so she said the juice concentrate had sugar in it but she could make it with fresh squeezed orange juice instead. She was nice, informed (because she knew the concentrate had sugar), happily provided another option and I was totally impressed. Then another customer who seemed to be a regular came in and was just chit chatting, reminded him they made a mistake on his order last time and offered a free one and when ringing him up she remembered that he had credit in his juice it up card and asked him for it to double check to give him a discount! She's amazing!! Her name is Joanne, who ever owns this place is lucky to have her!! Her customer service is excellent and I saw her interacting with her co-workers and found her to be helpful and kind. In this fast crazy world we live in it's so nice to walk into a place and see this kind of attention. Loving this pitaya bowl!!”

“Highly recommended for those who want a badass detriot style pizza. Me and my best friend came here after kayaking. While the wait time was a bit long to get seated, we didnt have to wait long for our food. The food was delicious as hell. We had nashville hot wings, truffle fries and detriot style pizza with pepperoni, sausage and jalapenos along with ranch, truffle sauce, bread and butter pickles and fresh jalapenos. The wings were juicy, tender and full of flavor, along with the fries, which were better than most fast food fries LMAO. The pizza, the star of the show, was out of this world, especially the ampunt of cheese, sauce on top, fresh toppings and somehow made both the cheese and bread full of flavor. Before i forget, i also decides to tried this dessert which is a chochalte chip chochalte cookie sundae which comes with ice cream, chochalte syrup and whipped cream. This dessert, cookie monster, was great although the syrup doesnt match well with this dessert, kinda wish it was hot fudge, but other than that, it was to die for. Wings get a 10 out of 10, so do the fries wjile the pizza is a 100 out of 10 it was that good. The cookie monster dessert i also had gets a 9/10, it was great but like i said the chochalte syrup feels like it didnt belong the sundae i wish it was hot fudge instead but still delicious. Anyone in huntington beach or anywhere in Southern Orange County wanting a badass pizza, come here. Try the nashville hot wings, truffle fries, detriot pizza and cookie monster. There is also morzallea sticks, burgers, sandwhiches and i believe fried pickles, mac n cheese and other fries, but defintely give this place a try.”

“I've been patronizing this Del Taco for 16 years. It's consistently had the best quality of any Del Taco I've eaten at. Tonight (around 6:45 pm at the drive through) I tried the new honey Chipotle BBQ brisket quesadilla, mango pineapple lemonade popper, and funnel fries. Del Taco has the best meat of any chain Mexican fast food restaurant I've ever had. This was no exception! The shredded brisket was delicious and there was just the right amount of it on the quesadilla. The funnel fries were the perfect accompaniment, hot and fresh out of the fryer. The mango lemonade popper was tasty and refreshing. The service is always friendly, they always get my order right. I will continue as a regular, and highly recommend.”

He even greets him and then asks if he wants the "usual". This is the kind of customer service we've lost through too many not caring. Overall, my experience was wonderful. The lunch bagels are hearty, and the prices are super reasonable.”

There are only two tables outside of the building and no restroom (the nearest one is at Target).Moving on to the food, the DHK Plate which is one of the weekly specials comes with Kalua Pig which is good but a little bit dry; the laulau is tender and fragrant.The CPC Chicken sauce is delicious, the taste is similar to soy garlic Korean fried chicken. I do love the crispy chicken breading, it’s so crunchy! We can’t tell the difference between the CPC and the garlic flavor though, it tastes very similar as the hint of garlic is very little. “EXCELLENT SERVICE ! My wife and I decided to try this cafe for lunch on Sunday after our walk around a nearby nature reserve. It's situated inside a quaint old world shopping village. We parked our wheels and then walked around the shops looking for this cafe. At around 2pm we found it and went inside. VERY CUTE ! The interior had a nice comforting look with a few Middle Eastern accents and we could see yummy food in the display case...such as Borek. A friendly cashier named Ayla helped me at the cashier desk when I ordered our lunch....2 x Flat Whites with hazelnut syrup ( Torani ), 1 x Turkish Spinach Borek and 1 x Turkish Feta Cheese Borek. There were a number of dessert choices inside the display cabinet but I thought we eat some solid food first and see how we felt. It wasn't real busy when we first arrived but all of a sudden more and more people were dropping in for coffees. Ayla made our Flat Whites and placed them on the service counter for me to collect. QUITE GOOD ! Our flat whites were well made by baristas Ayla.....they had a nice robust flavor ! After a few minutes Ayla had warmed up our Boreks and they were ready to eat. DELICIOUS ! We shared half of each one and both were delicious. DESSERT ! I saw the tray of Baklava on the cashier counter when I ordered...I love it so I ordered one and a Creme Brulee Bar for my wife. My fresh made Baklava tasted fabulous. On the other hand my wife's Creme Brûlée Bar was too firm....it needed to be served at room temperature. Overall we were very happy with our lunch visit here !”

I ordered the Orange Roll, which is a shrimp tempura roll topped with salmon. Since I got my order to go, the spicy mayo and eel sauce were packed in a small cup. I also got the Cherry Blossom Roll, which was a spicy tuna roll topped with tuna, green onion, and masago. Personally, I loved the Orange Roll the best! When I picked up my order I was pleasantly surprised to get the BOGO 50% off deal, they automatically gave me the discount. Yummy lunch and a great deal, can't go wrong!”

“We parked in the self park area. A gentleman walking past us seemed to know where he was going so I asked him for directions to the restaurant. He said he was going there and would walk us over. We walked into a mini restaurant area. We got to our restaurant and it was so cool! This place is so cool with all the fish hanging up on the ceiling. Our seat was right in front of the ocean. What a view! The atmosphere was a joyous one and the restaurant was filled with 20-40 something's. Everyone was literally laughing and having a great time. It's a laid back beach restaurant. The only thing is they have no bathroom. But so you can walk off your meal it's real close to a Vietnamese restaurant which has a very large bathroom outside their restaurant. It's nice, the stalls are very large and it's very clean. They have takeout and the meals are quickly made. I will be back to this fabulous restaurant! Our meal was one of the best Salmon we have ever tasted! It did not smell fishy and it was barbecued and very tender with a slight Smokey taste.”

“Ordered New York & Shrimp to-go, white rice w/vegetables adding Miso soup. White rice was the best part, don't get me wrong the food was good just not worth $45.14. The Teriyaki sauce tasted like it was made by a white guy trying too hard to cook Japanese food.The vegetables were cooked perfectly! I became a bit spoiled for Japanese food in HB from eating at Matsu (Beach & Talbert) since 1978, but this was okay food, I really can't complain much. I am wondering why at 7:30PM on a Wednesday night the dining room was a ghost town?!?It was the best Japanese food I've had on Beach Blvd. in HB for a long time. Matsu has gone downhill since it changed ownership in the 90's, but I think I found my new favorite Japanese restaurant to eat at in HB.I think I was happy with my food overall, I'll give it a solid 7 out of 10. If the staff were a bit more friendly, I'd give you another point, let's see what happens the next time I visit this restaurant.Good job people. ?Parking: This restaurant is located in the old HB Fire Station across the street from Taco Bell, plenty of parking but would be better if it had a little bit more lighting.”

“I'd give it more stars if I could. The food and service was phenomenal. Our table ordered chilaquiles verdes and rojos, the brekky quesadilla, the kid's French toast, the banana nut French toast, and the cafe de olla and not one of us was disappointed. All of those menu items were so tasty and well cooked. Eating was such a wonderful experience overall and I'd definitely come back again. My only issue is that I'm a tourist and I won't be back for awhile ?”

“Came here for a friend's birthday brunch and was surprised how cute it was. Also, I only looked at the brunch menu and didn't know about the main. Which we ended up ordering from. It's a mixture of Thai I believe. Restaurant isn't that big. There's a good amount of tables inside as well as a couple outside. Theres the coffee bar with pastries right when you walk in. We sampled the mimosas platter with four tasting u believe. The Bloody Mary was just ok. Nothing really major to rave about. Entrees, the crab fried rice, which was pretty flavorful and portion of crab was nice. Drunken noodle, flavored well. And the burger, seemed like it was a big thing as loads of people were ordering it. And it was quite tasty. Presentation was beautiful with each plate. Overall, pretty cool spot. Service was great and what we had was nice.”

“Oh boy oh boy where do I begin? My dearest, bj’s, with every step into this establishment i feel as if all my problems have instantly vanished. Bj’s is like a hospital, and the server Taylor is like the cardiologist as in she is an essential to the place. not only does she heal my hunger, but she also cures my pain, Taylor deserves to get a pat on the back by everyone she knows. her attitude deserves a lot of gratitude to say the least. it is clear that she was selected personally to work here just as farmer dan picks his berries. Come here and ask for taylor and all your problems will go away. i come in with a frown but taylor along with the food turns it right upside down.”
“Brandon and DeShawn made our experience here so amazing. They were so funny, attentive and accommodating. They are definitely the main reason we are coming back. But I will also say the drinks were incredible and the food was deluxe. The music was an absolute vibe and the decorations are beautiful. So we are definitely going to come here more often!”

“A nice simple menu to choose from with several protein variations. Layout in store is tight but was easy enough to get in and find a seat. Food was served quickly and staff is friendly and attentive. Salsa bar had a good selection to pick from and setup from mild to hot.Ordered a torta and it was a delicious combination of steak and chorizo. Worth the stop for some tasty food.”

“Came here tonight servers name was Toni she was absolutely wonderful! Super attentive always making sure we were happy with everything. Cadillac Margarita was incredible and so was the food! Overall great experience will be coming back. I do want to mention managers were attentive as well constantly checking in on tables. I appreciate restaurants who truly care about the happiness of the customers and this is the spot for it. Great atmosphere as well and great ambiance.”

This is my new local but before I used to go to Brookhurst but it seems now that the portions are smaller or rationed (see other bad review) and the prices are still what they are. “I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.”
