“The food lives up to the restaurants name: the fish and all the sushi tasted like butter, especially the salmon in the pressed salmon avo. The sushi rolls were surprisingly big compared to the sushi rolls at other sushi restaurants, which explains why the rolls were around $20. Food is very high-quality and I would recommend this place for a nice meal. Service was friendly and helpful. There is seating both inside and outside, and both give a view to the ocean. You can also sit by the sushi bar.“

“My best friend was able to pull together a wedding by the beach in 10 days. The day before we called Sapphire to see if they could accommodate us with 30-40 people. They did and created a menu with their names on it and the meals available to everyone. The service was amazing, the food was delicious and the drinks kept coming. Everyone had an amazing time, they even allowed the newlyweds to have their first dance on the patio. I appreciate the owners so much for making this day so special for my friend and her family. ❤️“

“Such a fun atmosphere and excellent food! Our server Gabriel was friendly and helpful. He recommended the chile relleno and the Branzino and both were uniquely delicious. We also ordered the octopus ceviche for an appetizer and it was tender with incredible flavor. We also shared their homemade soft serve ice cream which was the best I’ve had. We shared this between 4 people and it was plenty of food. We are full, happy, and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend if you want a great meal in a beautiful place!“

“This is an ideal place for those who watch their diet and eat right. A small cozy cafe for 4 tables with bar stools for a quick healthy, hearty snack. Friendly staff always fresh products, clean. We have visited many times and every time everything is perfect in taste and service. From minuses it is absence of a toilet and badly working internet at verazen.“

“We live right up the canyon and had never visited. Highly recommend!! Great food, reasonable prices, our waitress, Cassidy was so great! She was efficient with everything and just had the nicest personality. We will be back!!!“

“We arrived at 5:30 for our reservations and fortunately found a place to park in the back. Parking could be an issue though so plan ahead with your time. Our experience with the food and service was fabulous. The French onion soup is a must. My husband had the rack of lamb and I had one of the fish specials. Both excellent in taste and presentation. Our service, (wish I could remember her name) was wonderful. Knowledgeable, more than accommodating and very nice. Pricing was very reasonable for fine dining. We will for sure return for another date night.“

“Wahoos closed near me but when I am in Orange County I always try to stop by to get their fish tacos! Not many places sell fish tacos anymore and definitely not in the variety of ways that Wahoo does (in a salad, fried, grilled) nor with the quality of fish that Wahoo does (they use a Wahoo fish). The owner is Chinese so there are also subtle Asian influences that Wahoo brings to certain menu items. Hope that Wahoo opens up more locations in LA County again!“

“I had the blackened fish sandwich...halibut this day.. cooked to perfection...the iced tea was fresh brewed, and the guacamole was delicious...service staff are fun, friendly, and attentive...we ate outside, the ground were beautiful and the waves rolling in off the Pacific was very satisfying...“

“Extraordinary food and service we came looking for a breaky spot and we passed this place and decided to try it, the best choice ever Jules was an amazing waiter and the best customer service I’ve ever had 10/10 would recommend, definitely get a breaky burrito they are stufffed !“

“Very long wait times. Terrible customer service and overall, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. The waiter messed up our order and argued with my wife about how he did not mess up the order and continued to argue with my wife, which further upset me and my parents. I asked the waiter to leave and requested to speak with the manager. I had explained everything to the manager and told the manager that because the food came out wrong and the waiter argued with my wife, that it was time to go because the waiter ruined our meal and our experience. After paying for 3 meals that we did not eat, the restaurant manager was extremely rude, told us to leave, and to never come back. We left very angry and upset. This restaurant ruined our entire afternoon. I do not recommend this restaurant because of the terrible customer service. If you make a mistake, own it, and make it right. Not the case here, they just want your money and send you on your way as fast as possible. If you’re looking for a nice dining experience there are far better options than this place.“

“My husband and I had the prix fixe brunch on the patio, overlooking the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious! My only issue is that there was so much food that I felt wasteful leaving some of it - I was too full to finish it all! But that was honestly the only issue we had. It was a fantastic experience and our server even brought out a slice of cheesecake for my birthday.“
