“While in the Los Altos downtown, we were looking for a spot to eat and found this on Yelp. It was a nice find. We enjoyed the food on the hot day and sat outside under the umbrellas on the benches. I ordered a greek salad with chicken and it was very good and fresh. It came with few pieces of bread on the side. The service was great. I would recommend!”

“The pumpkin cheesecake was unique and excellent! We also loved the strawberry shortcake we got.The menu is small but everything looks incredible. There was no line when we went after lunch on a Saturday. It's located inside state street market.”

“We were craving a carbonara but we tried plenty of other items on the menu as well. We must have been hungry because we ordered a garlic shrimp and a bruschetta for appetizers. Then a risoto, bolognese, tortellini and a medium pizza Pompeii. For dessert we shared a limoncello tartufo. Service was great. The style was more of an old school Italian, nice sauces, perfectly cooked pastas. The pizza bread was thick kind and the toppings tasty. Our favorites would be the tortellini and bolognese but the rest were equally nice. The dessert was divine and I am usually not a fan of lemon. Bread is served with dinner with butter and a nice dipping sauce.”

“We were looking for a venue to host a gathering for our kids' soccer team, and landed upon State Street Market. By far, the easiest reservation I've been able to get. We were able to reserve the covered outdoor patio space for 24 (it can host more). Plenty of yummy food options catering to kids and adults alike, and because it's food court-style, everyone pays and orders for their own. No fussing with split bills, but maybe a wait on food if you come at a busy time. A great dining experience, some of us returned the following day.”

My preference is for the 7:17 (give or take) omakase at the bar followed by a night meeting around a square or round table. Each person has two people to talk to at the bar (Me - Jeff- Elon - Mark - Lauren - Priscilla - Sergey- - Larry - Larry - plus 4 additional guests if others can attend - Camelia Me 12 Camelia Typically my wife returns home early by Lyft or Uber but I stay out later and sometimes overnight in Woodside at a suitable location.”

“I had a wonderful birthday dinner at Cetrella with a couple of friends. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was just right, and the staff was welcoming and friendly. I particularly enjoyed the octopus and the surprise panna cotta I received at the end :)”

“Came on a Thursday night before it got too busy, I left when it was full! Got pretty wasted , in a good way. Living walking distance is awesome.The duck fat cocktail sounded better than it tasted. “Wow, I just got my first delivery of Little Sky’s Olive Rosemary round and Onion & Parmesan bialys and I’m in love! Sooo delicious I could eat it as a meal! Had it with some TJ’s chili garlic crunch and Italian Bomba Calabrian peppers. I thought each bialys would be the size of a bagel but it was the size of a personal pizza.”

“The cutest little dessert shop in Los Altos. Has the best cake and very yummy drinks. There is no longer any indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating with shades. My favorite is the strawberry and cream cake and it is by far the best one I've ever had. Service is quick and just a grab and go kind of place where you pick up your cake and find a place to sit down. Since the seating is outdoors on a Main Street there is the ambiance of cars and people walking by.”

“Was trying to find a gluten free bakery that would make an angel food cake for me and they were generous enough to offer even though it’s not a usual! Beyond grateful for them for being able to do this for me as my partner has not been able to eat this for about 8 years so it made her birthday even more special! “First time visiting State Street Market. It was Sunday afternoon about 1:30. Parking is not so great and you have to hope someone is pulling out as you approach. Inside State Street Market, it was pretty busy. I grabbed the first table I saw that was also being used by a family of 4 so we had to share. I let my 3 family members go order their food while I held the table for us. I decided to checkout Konjoe Burger. The cost of the burgers was the first thing I noticed. I thought that if I'm going to spend a lot, I will get a big tasty burger. I ordered the Texas Burger, but now that I'm looking at the menu online, I was given the Smokehouse Burger. I thought this burger was good. It was full of flavor which included candied jalapenos and maple bacon. I thought the burger patties were small or too thin. However, the sandwich itself was good with each bite. Next time I go I may try the Truffle Burger. The fries were also good but next time I'll get the plain fries. The seasoned fries weren't as good as I expected.”

“The los altos lemonade and pomegranate fizz were semisweet and delicious drinks, my fave being the former, but they were both good. Got to sip on these lovely cocktails and enjoy some good company while listening to live music as part of Los Altos First Friday. Service at the bar was standard and sufficient, and the atmosphere was noisy but full of energy inside the State Street Market food hall this past weekend, with bar seating not too difficult to find around 7pm.”

“Pastas are the best within the county, had the Tartufo and a Create your own pasta with Alfredo, sun dried tomatoes and shaved parmesan I asked if they could make it spicy and they delivered. Kind and courteous service with a smile. Quick to boot. And for the quality and quantity the pricing is very fair. Good portions, delicious pastas, great service!”

It is connected to the State Street Market Food Hall and also in its own small room (away from the restaurants and bakeries and beverages); it has two entrances. It is open Sun-Thu 12-9pm and Fri&Sat 12-10pm. Worker is quick, attentive, and friendly. As of February 2024... The flavors for the ice cream are: Hazelnut Praline, Lime Shortbread, Dark Chocolate (vegan), Verve Coffee w/ chocolate almond praline, Tahitian Vanilla Bean, Penny / Fruit Pops, Bitter Caramel, Lime Sorbet, Salted Butter Toffee, Fresh Mint Chip (Sea to Sky Form?) Scoops Single ($7.25), Double ($9.50), Triple ($10.50), Mini ($6.25), Mini Double ($7.25). Toppings are $1 and include: chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, toasted almonds, whipped cream, toasted marshmallow fluff, dark chocolate cookie crumb, and sprinkles (50 cents). Take Me Home Pints ($12.25), Sundae Kit for Four ($25), Ice Cream Cakes ($75) Their specials are Penny Pop: Verve Coffee, Fruit Pop: Lime, BonBons: Dulce de leche, Shake: Orange Curd, Fruit Reserve: Orange Curd, Float: Hot Chocolate They also have traditional sundaes, affogatos, hot & cold beverages, and Verve Coffee drinks! Refer to my pictures that I attached to this review for menu details :p My loved one absolutely loves Penny's ice cream from Santa Cruz. He got Dark Chocolate (Vegan) flavor. The flavor is pretty cocoa-y. Seems like the quality of the ice cream is consistent. So glad to have Penny's in the South Bay!”

“New “more than a coffeehouse” in Mountain View with a Venezuelan touch. Good ambiance and the menu offers an extensive list of items to please every taste. I got the “empanaditas” which are fried. Comes with cheese filling and ground beef. The red sauce was super hot. Caught me by surprise and I coughed and got teary eyes. It needs a warning! Coffee was great and look at that perfect heart work! Just beautiful. Parking during a Saturday can be challenging but a 2 block walk is a solution. Try it!”

“We were not the most organized group of people when we came here. No one knew what they wanted we were a decently sized group and it took a while to get everything explained and handled. Their treatment of us was amazing they seemed to go out of their way to assist us and to be patient with us. The food was good I would definitely highly recommend coming here! Again the service was top-notch the kind of service that I appreciate when I go out to eat! Keep up the great work and if you are in the area go visit them!”

“We are locals and just had an outstanding meal at Barbayani!-Food 10/10 we had the lamb riblets, the whole fish, the chicken souvlaki, and drinks. Everything was moist, flavorful, and well-balanced with all the finishing touches.-Service and environment also 10/10, everyone was friendly, checked on us quickly and often, topped off our waters at least 10 times, and food came out very quickly. The environment is so chic and beautiful but also comfortable and welcoming. Beautiful accents throughout down to all the finishing touches like you see in the trendiest of city restaurants. Such a gem in Los Altos.”

“Reasonably priced, extensive menu, talented sushi chef, great service. This is my new favorite sushi spot.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance has a pull door. So, a person in a wheelchair did have difficulty opening the door independently, but there are windows that the staff could notice someone wanting to come inside. There is enough room for a person to get around the restaurant once inside.”

“Very impressive cooking. Thoughtful, interesting recipes. Desserts not overly sweet, a rarity in these parts. Perfect portion sizes: a meal of an appetizer, main course, and dessert is quite substantial but not humanly impossible to consume. We ordered: Halibut special appetizer - like ceviche but in tomato juice, loved it. Had no idea tomato has enough acid to cook the fish. Did not taste like there was lemon or lime in it but who knows. Burrata - not what we are used to getting as burrata, rather a ricotta filling in a mozzarella shell, unexpected and really great Agrentinian steak: steak absolutely perfect; straightforward sides executed well. Duck main course: meat also perfect, very interesting sides (baby leek and artichoke heart). Basque cheesecake: I wish I could steal their recipe. I make a good cheesecake but theirs is lighter. I am jealous :) Panna Cotta: NOT TOO SWEET THANK YOU SO MUCH Please for heaven's sake get rid of dessert jars. They are just... not a great idea. I had a stronger word there but decided to be a good girl and exercise restraint!”

“WildBerry is a wee fro-yo shop that's not a chain as far as I know. Clearly their name is a take on Pinkberry, but unlike the corporate fro-yo franchise, here you get to pull the levers to do your own mixing and matching of the frozen treat. Price per ounce is competitive and even a smidge less than Yogurtland and Pinkberry. For flavours, there's nothing particularly Wild or unique, but what they do, they do very well. The few fro-yo stations all worked smoothly, dispensing every flava in a consistent ideal texture. Every one I tried was Berry yummy: cappuccino, cake batter, strawberry and plain tart.Staff on a weekend afternoon are young (maybe teenagers?) cheerful friendly and extremely customer oriented. I truly appreciated their careful hygienic practices using tongs to fetch things and, upon my request, finding gloves to use at the machines. The tiny shop is kept spic and span. You can't sit inside but no worry because there's an abundance of small benches spaced all throughout the retail complex. On a mild beautiful day, great to sit outside and people watch, or in my case, pet watch. We saw several dogs and I got to say hi to and pet a couple of them. Thanks to Yelp pal Steve for discovering this gem of a fro-yo place, a refreshing change from the big chains. Cute clean unassuming and worth seeking out in Los Altos. Look for Starbucks (at this shopping plaza), and Wild Berry is directly around its corner to the right.”

“We dine here regularly. It's solid Mexican food served in a friendly environment. We always know we will get good, solid, flavorful Mexican dishes here. We especially like the enchiladas. Service is very good. A neighborhood gem. Prices are a bit high but on-par to similar restaurants in Los Altos.”

“I discovered the place by accident. I was next door inside Michaels having some art pieces custom framed when I decided to look for a place to stop by to eat. I was starving. I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.”

“Su-Dam Korean Cuisine offers delicious and comforting Korean fare, perfect for a relaxed and satisfying lunch. Their specialty is undoubtedly the Korean stews (jjigae) served simmering in traditional bubbling pots.My personal favorite is the beef short rib soup. The melt-in-your-mouth tender beef and flavorful broth are a true delight. Paired with the variety of complimentary banchan (side dishes), it creates a complete and delightful lunch experience.”

“Been here a few times over the last month and the cafe is super cute. Very popular with locals with indoor and outdoor seating and even an upstairs seating area filled with books/games to truly kick back and relax. The service is friendly and knowledgeable about the different roasts and coffee options. Great strong flavors of both the coffee and matcha (sometimes matcha can be watered down). They have a small selection of pastries as well. Sometimes service can be slow as they are popular so if you are in a hurry, you may want to come earlier.”
