“My husband and I made reservations for omakase dinner at 5:30pm on a Saturday. We showed up at the restaurant a couple of minutes before opening, and there were several couples already waiting outside. We noted how punctual the restaurant was as they opened at 5:30 right at the dot. Sushi Jin was beautiful in its own simple way. Our table was tucked in the corner, which was nice because it made for a private and intimate dinner. Wonderful hospitality! I had put in the reservation notes that the reason of our reservation was celebrating our nuptials, and we received a sweet congratulatory table card and complimentary champagne toasts. In general, the wait staff was very friendly and courteous. We got the omakase dinner, an uni tasting, a nigiri a la carte per recommendation of our waitress, and a dessert. Overall food was delicious, but there were certainly some standout dishes. The omakase tasting wasn't the best I've seen in terms of presentation, but the quality of the fish and unique flavors and textures were impressive. We also ordered the nodoguro that isn't part of the omakase menu. The grilled ebodai (butterfish) was my favorite from the sushi course. I also enjoyed the soup course, which had a soft and flaky black cod. The uni tasting was such a treat. When I initially signed up for the tasting, they had 3 types of uni. Sushi Jin had 5 types at the time of our dinner, so we decided to upgrade our tasting to include the other 2. I love uni but admittedly never done a tasting. This was an experience I couldn't miss out on, and what's cool was that I could really taste the differences between each one. Loved the hojicha panna cotta. The panna cotta was smooth and creamy, and the hojicha flavor was very prominent.”

“Delightful Dining Experience: A Symphony of Flavors at Everest CuisineMy recent dinner experience at Everest was a delightful culinary journey. The tomato soup was a standout, boasting a rich flavor profile without the usual tartness found elsewhere. The palak paneer, with its creamy texture and tender paneer, was a true indulgence for the senses. However, the real star of the show was the veg momo platter. Not only was it beautifully presented, but it also delivered on taste and portion size. My only suggestion for improvement would be to vary the fillings across the different momo types, as they were all uniformly delicious but lacked individuality. Despite this minor critique, I'm eager to return and would highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians paradiseKid-friendliness: Kids should be comfortable with north indian dishes and bread.”

Overall a very authentic experience - the hot pot flavors and ingredients are exactly what you would get in China (not Americanized at all). They also had a free sauce station which included side dishes! Like chicken feet. This also means the broth is quite spicy, as in "mild" is quite spicy already. We had a great time, and everything was delicious (except the tripe was not very fresh), and we finished the meal with free soft serve ice cream!”

Verde Tea Cafe 852 Villa St, Mountain View Bubble Tea • $

“I'm rating this place so high because I think they deserve a better rating. I typically go here for the spicy popcorn chicken and a large milk tea with boba, to go. And as far as meeting the quota goes, they do it better than most places I've been to -- a fair balance between price and quality. Plus, pretty much all boba places that also serve popcorn chicken I've been to don't serve milk tea in that size! They have a sign that says "cash only" but that's only referring to their counter orders as opposed to their tablet orders -- so don't get confused by that. I definitely want to come back in the near future, although they close fairly early.”

Boba Bliss 685 San Antonio Rd Suite 15, Mountain View Bubble Tea • $

“Boba Bliss represents a nice, tasty, and modern boba shop. The first thing that caught my eye was how nice the interior was. Lots of natural light, making this boba shop a great place to sit and study in. Their menu has a variety of drinks ranging from Milk Teas to Green Teas to Lattes. I love how they have seasonal drinks, so there's always something new on the menu. There is a kiosk for you to order from, but they also have a cashier to take orders as well. Hojicha Cheese Cream (4.5/5): My first sip tasted like straight cream cheese, but as I kept drinking, the drink tasted better. The hojicha flavor is nice and strong, but not too strong to where the milk flavor goes away. The cheese cream pairs well with the hojicha flavor making this a must get when available! Creme Brulee Pearl Latte w/ Assam Black Tea (4.8/5): I love creme brulee in my tea and I am really glad they gave me an option to sub the milk with milk tea. Everything about this was good. The creme brulee was perfectly toasted and the flavor of the black sugar with the tea was good. I would say it was a tiny bit too creamy, but I had no problem with it.”

“Really cute & chic bakery with delicious pastries. The store is really spacious -- you can order your coffee & pastries for take out but there's also a whole section of the restaurant where you can sit down and eat as well. I really enjoyed the flat croissant. For me, it's the best part of the croissant -- the crispiness and flakiness of a croissant. The strawberry glaze and freeze-dried strawberries also added a nice touch. Would come back just for this. The almond croissant was pretty good but not amazing. The croissant itself was flaky and fluffy. The filling was good but personally thought there was too much filling so that's all you taste in eat bite. It's a little too overpowering and felt like I was mainly just eating that. 100% have to heat it up before eating -- otherwise, it tastes very mid. Overall, their desserts & pastries are yummy but don't think it's worth the drive here if you don't live in the area.”

“This location is one of the best. They keep their traffic in drive-thru flowing especially at late hours. My experience with customer service has ALWAYS been positive.Food wise, I've NEVER had to take my food back or toss it. On 1 or 2 occasions, my fries weren't hot (fresh) and in saying that please make them fresh or ensure you serve hot/warm fries for every order. It really ruins the enjoyment when you have a nicely fresh made sandwhich or burger and your fries are cold.Otherwise, thank you! I don't expect perfection, but decent quality. I recommend this location for those who need a good Jack in the box location if you are from the Sunnyvale and or Mountain View area.”

“TLDR Butter Chicken Pizza! I have a confession to make... I LOVE Indian Pizza. I love Indian food (improbably, since I don't like spicy!) and I love Pizza! So to me, it's a match made in heaven! First time, I had this perfect mashup was about 15 years ago in Los Gatos, near my old workplace. Since that place closed, I haven't had a decent one since, and I've looked! I found this place on Yelp, and thought it would be the perfect place to meet my old co-workers for lunch. I was a bit wrong. The first sign of trouble is, you don't actually see the sign for this place. It's called Fast Pizza, instead. Second problem is the word... Fast. As in, this place seems to be primarily meant for take-out (like Pizza Hut is nowadays). There were only 2 small tables in the place, with chairs that were a size too high. This is not a good first impression. We managed to take the high table, that only had 2 high chairs for the 3 of us. Awkward! But the pizza was worth it! I'm super glad the guy taking the order asked us if we like Cilantro on it. NO! I hate that herb, and I'm super glad the guy asked us about it. The butter chicken wasn't that spicy, which was right up my alley. The chicken itself was baked very well... juicy and not dry at all. And the sauce was simply delicious. Much better than any marinara sauce. I think if I lived close by, I would gladly come to this place. I really like the pizza, it was flavorful, chicken was juicy and the dough was fluffy. Unfortunately it's a bit too far for take-out. I guess my search for the perfect Indian Pizza place continues!”

“Our first experience was a small catering order. We got The Big Onion. Everyone agreed the food was very good. The ribs were tender yet juicy. The tri-tip was surprisingly tender for a catering tray. The beans had nice chunks of meat and good flavor. Overall I'm impressed with the value. They didn't skimp on the food either. There was plenty for 11 people and the description said it could feed 10-12.”

“Nice coffee place in a strip center. I came to see if I could do which was to have iced coffee. They had several types of drink. I went for their iced latte. It was good and hit the spot. They also have goodies. Like a donut, which I was surprised to see. Yes, I went for it. As good as Dunkin in my opinion. Service was excellent and I wasn't in a rush unlike some other places. I definitely recommend this place. However parking is a challenge there are businesses in the strip center. I would recommend parking at Dollar Tree which is just adjacent to this cafe and walking over.”

“Zareen's is great. The only reason I didn't give the place all 5 stars was because I find the seating to be a mission and if there are issues with you order you're having to work pretty hard to find someone to fix it. It's a very fast paced environment so no warm and fuzzy if that's the vibe you're chasing. Sorta spicey for kids. But the taste is on point.”

The owner (Manuel Vasquez) and his staff was very hospitable. I will stop in everytime I am in California. I'm from Michigan and we need more Wine Bar's here. I absolutely loved the items mentioned above. My friend loved it also, even though he never heard of truffle and charcuterie. This Wine Bar also had great pizza's. Love this place!!!!”

“This was my second visit to Hyderabad Dim Biriyani and to my surprise the food was so much better and well prepared. Our mutton curry was little undercooked but once we mentioned about it the owner right away took care of us. I wish if they can make their naan for $4.—-little bigger. Also they should give some extra napkins to the customers so that they don’t have to ask for every little thing. I will recommend you to go and enjoy the food. It’s always good to complaint to the owner/manager so that they can take care of you and rectify if there is something wrong. #papihanandy”

Kistler is said to be the best Chardonnay in Napa, and is elegant with concentrated fruit flavor, fresh acidity, and minerality. It went well with sushi. I am proud that I was able to come up with a very fun pairing this time too. This wine is called a cult wine due to its popularity, low production volume, and difficulty in obtaining it! !Located in the Russian River Valley, Kistler’s Burgundian style Chardonnays have achieved a “Cult Chardonnay” status because of their traditional style and extraordinary, Grand Cru character.#winery trip #oyster trip #trip2024#cultwine”
