“This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when I'm on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now I'm completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously I'm not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. Also, parking lot is small and shared, so I avoid coming during peak lunch hours, usually after 1 to pick up my food, and I've had no issues.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, flavorful too!Parking: Parking lot is pretty small and shared with a pharmacy, laundromat and discount store.“

“We stopped by a few weeks ago on a Wednesday morning, a little before 11am. It was busy! The line went by quick, staff was friendly, helpful and provided great customer service. We ordered a few things, as we have never been here and wanted to try a little of everything! Everything we ordered was really good! Now I get the hype! Not pictured but we also ordered a coffee, horchata cold brew with oat milk! So good! & my husband ordered the Iced Dulce de Leche Latte, he really liked it, I tried it so good as well! I would say def try the chocolate twist, the churro croissant, the cold brew and latte, also the Dulce de leche besitos! Will be back when in the area. :)“

“After losing our beloved cat Bella in April of this year, our family was ready to adopt a new kitten(or two) but felt a bit apprehensive as to how to find a reputable rescue. We heard about Catmosphere, and after seeing the adorable kitties on their website, submitted the online adoption application. Sooo happy we did! Gail contacted me right away, and told us about two tuxedo kittens ready for their new home. The entire process was smooth and professional from start to finish. Gail was amazing, so helpful and knowledgeable about the kittens, set up our meeting with the kitties and it was love at first site! I was so impressed with how well-cared for and well-behaved these kittens were! All of the initial kitten exams, vaccinations, spay/neuter were all taken care of, making it so easy to transition them into our home. Our new kitties have adjusted very well to our home and we are just in love with them both! This has been by far the best cat adoption process we've ever experienced, and I strongly recommend that anyone looking to bring a new kitty or two into their family do so via Catmosphere Laguna Foundation. The quality of the ingredients is great. And the service staff is on point. I highly recommend this place. Parking is convenient. Note this is not a stand alone restaurant. The restaurant is located within a business plaza. They also offer a half sandwich and soup combo. My friend got the mushroom soup and half a sandwich and said the soup was excellent. Another friend got the Cobb salad and said it was great. I got the club sandwich and was very pleased with my order. We also got an order of the hummus to share which I highly recommend. I tried their wholesome and tasty Chilaques con huevo served with Peruvian beans, a good tasting salsa verde, and a nicely brew-blend Columbian coffee. “I've come here twice as a place to get coffee and get some work done while my dog is getting groomed. Street parking can be plentiful. I love that there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors is nice for when you wan to enjoy the weather and the indoor area accommodates people who are alone, in pairs, or in a trio. It is a very cute and cozy coffee shop and the baristas are incredibly friendly and helpful. They have a pretty simple menu of coffees but do differently monthly specials. I've had their lavender latte and their April special which is the lavender foam matcha latte. Both did not disappoint! They also sell these vegan donuts that are not bad either. If you make it early enough you might get some of their other pastries like croissants!“

Everything I've tried has been delicious and fills me up. I enjoyed the egg Benedicts and Breakfast Delights menu. My family enjoys the omelets and pancakes, especially the granola pancakes. I always have to get the home fries with any of the breakfast plates. I love the crispy and the tender pieces of the seasoned potatoes. The service and staff are friendly and attentive. They always ensure my coffee is topped off and hot and orders are prepared promptly. Dining here feels like a hometown diner, with a relaxed atmosphere and the decor and music to complement. There is also indoor and patio seating. I plan to try items from the lunch menu soon, but breakfast is my jam at this spot.“

The place is very "nice" Pink! I loved the small, cozy and very quiet place. Only perhaps because it was Mother's Day the service was delayed. I understand it, but I in particular like to "take" my time to eat any food. I recommend the restaurant. “From the first visit, Civitas has been our favorite ever since! Whenever we are out of town and try another coffee shop we always compare that coffee shop to Civitas. "Is it as good as Civitas?" The answer is very rarely a "yes". Our regular order is an unsweetened iced oat milk latte! And I would like to say that it doesn't give us "that first sip feeling", it gives us "that every sip feeling"! Wonderful baristas, delicious coffee, and reasonable prices! :)“
