“I love this location. Today we opted to stop by for lunch and it did not disappoint. It took willpower to bypass the pastry and dessert case and just go right to the cashier to order lunch. We opted for a French onion soup and a turkey and cheese baguette with a side salad. Inside there are a few high counter seats but outside there are plenty of tables and chairs next to the building as well as the street location. It's a cute little place reminiscence of a French café. The soup was delicious as always with a rich broth and plenty of onions and cheese. The sandwich was my first time trying it, and it did not disappoint. It was freshly prepared and had plenty of ingredients. We could only finish half and took the rest home. We also opted a pain du chocolat which was also delicious. We finished the meal with a bottle of Coke services is always fast and friendly. There is street parking as well as municipal lot at the library, but it can be a little difficult during meal periods.“

“Absolute grub! We didn't find this place until our last night in town. I wish we would have found it earlier in our trip. This is really good Asian food. The bowls are a good size for lunch. “Went here the other day for the first time and the coffee is really good. The inside is small, but they have some outdoor seating available. I had an americano, they use quality coffee beans. I highly recommend trying Rapport if you're in the area. I've heard from others the lattes and other drinks are great as well!“

“Great place for someone vegan and gluten intolerant. I had an açaí bowl regular size and it was very generous, full of fresh fruit and gluten free granola which made it sweeter.The açaí itself was pretty sweet on its own so I would probably not take the granola next time. The açaí was the correct consistency. Not completely frozen like some places serve it but very cold like a thick smoothie which is how it should be served.Service was great, nice chilled vibe and you can tell it’s not a huge chain but a local business which makes me want to come back and try some of their other bowls, coffees and bakes.“

“The best service I have ever had at a fast food restaurant (to include other in-N-Out restaurants). I had somebody open the door for me when I walked in and greeted me very warmly. I had two cashier contacts and the guy who gave me my food. All were super warm and courteous. The team and management need to be commended. This is how restaurants should run. And if you’re wondering, I do not know anybody who works at this restaurant nor do I work for In-N-Out. I just appreciate being treated right.“

“*****Best Bowls Ever!*****My eldest and I were in the neighborhood for a couple of days. The previous day we had acai and pitaya bowls elsewhere. We came here with no expectations. The shop is small and cozy and they have a few tables outside where you can sit next to the Dr. Who robots and Tardis. Service is superb. The hosts are friendly and full of smiles. We were both surprised at the freshness and quality of our bowls. We ordered:1. Campground-1/2 pitaya, 1/2 acai with granola, banana, strawberries and blueberries. Super flavorful. Smooth. Tasty.2. Moonbeam (my eldest ordered this) which was strictly Acai.I have to say that the cost was the average for the bowls but worth every penny. Both my eldest and I agreed these were the best bowls we have had. I would easily come back again. The parking lot is small but we found space. Alohana is all that and a bag of chips!“

“I have now been here a couple of times on my travels down to southern Orange County. The service is outstanding. My bartenders were very attentive without being pushy. The food is great too. A better value than what I used to in Santa Barbara. I will be back. It had just the right feel for me. A lot of TVs with unobstructed views and it was very casual and comfortable. They also had bar seating available and back room tables available for a short wait. Hosts and servers were all so nice The wine selection was decent and the service was great. The fresh bread the gave us with dinner was delicious and served with regular and pesto butter. They didn't skimp on the clams. the spumoni appetizer was great. Will be adding to our rotation of restaurants for date night. We ordered: Bruschetta appetizer Pasta Puttanesca Vongole with white sauce Bottle of Daou wine $50 spumoni bomba paid around 130 before tax? not bad! Place was fancy enough for date night but also causal for families as well.“

“Delahunt Brewing Steve and I recently got to try and we both enjoyed the beer that we shared. The name of the beer was Elotes Libre which was an IPA. Better than some IPA's I have had of late this refreshing beer has flavor features of hoppy, tropical, fruity and sweet. But it's not too sweet. I don't like my beers to taste like Kool-Aid or soda and that isn't usually a problem with IPA's but more with sours. But still, much appreciated that it wasn't too sweet. This IPA is fairly strong too which I don't mind as I like beer with a punch after a hard day.“

The owner is a doll and is happy to make recommendations if you need help choosing. So many great options and the vibe is so chill. Make sure to sign the gratitude journal too! “Came with 6 of my family while visiting San Clemente on a Sunday evening without a reservation. We were seated pretty quickly. The ambiance was industrial and open but we had a corner booth with a small table and chair added and were all comfortable. The menu intrigued me as I like Ono Hawaiian. They offered many traditional Hawaiian offerings so it was difficult to pick one. I opted for the Luau Plate that came with a variety of proteins that I could sample to include pig, teriyaki beef, teriyaki salmon, Portuguese sausage, and shoy chicken (crispy skin on chicken thigh) and it came with 3 sides. I chose the pineapple fried rice, Hawaiian Mac Salad and roasted veggies. Let me warn you the plates/portions are huge with food good for sharing. The cost of all that food was under $21! We ordered the Hapa Nachos as an appetizer it too was huge with a generous amount of pork piled on top of a plate full of restaurant style corn chips with lots of gooey cheese, jalapeno and garnished with green onion and came with several sauces. The pork was really good and reminded me of a luau l went to while in Hawaii some years ago. My grandkids got teriyaki burgers which were good and topped with lightly grilled pineapple. It came with a side and they chose fries that were crispy and seasoned which was also tasty. My daughter had the chicken yakisoba with ramen style noodles stir fried which also was very good. My wife wasn't that hungry but had a side of the pineapple fried rice and a side of the macaroni salad. We tried the macadamia nut Mac & cheese which was good but for me a little on the bland side. On my luau plate it also came with pickled mango and coconut haupia (gelatin) which was the hit of the night. My wife and daughter tried mine and loved it so much that they each ordered their own. For 6 full meals with an appetizer and a little dessert the bill was $165 after tip! Service was excellent and attentive and the server answered all our questions. The food came out pretty quickly and hot. I will definitely eat here when we visit San Clemente again. We didn't trv anything from the bar but they had a Sunday drink special of $5 draft beers and $6 IPA's. Enjoy“

“Had the ginger plum tea today and it was just what I needed, really refreshing. I like that they have real honey vs the syrup a lot of other coffee houses have. They make their own almond milk, and their coffees look pretty awesome! Easy five stars.“

“We have been coming to San Clemente for 30 plus years and always have stuck to the main drag. Just one block over you will fine the quant restaurant and pub called The Nomad. Ample indoor and outdoor seating creat a spacious dining experience. Our family enjoyed the outdoor deck while we snacked on wonderful appetizers and cocktails. A fantastic and relaxing experience for any nomad!“

“Rancho Capistrano Winery was a lovely restaurant located in the downtown area of San Clemente. The Brunch menu had many types of different foods for our entire party. Our waiter was very helpful in selecting a bottle of wine for our group and steering us to some of the specialties on the menu. The ambience in the restaurant was very casual, and we enjoyed a lovely Sunday afternoon in downtown San Clemente. We would recommend this restaurant for any type of group, and you can dine inside or outside. It was also nice to be able to walk around the downtown area after we finished this wonderful brunch.“

“The food here is amazing! But let me tell you about the staff, they are incredible! So this past weekend, I was eloping in San Clemente at the beach. I had been planning it for 6 weeks with another restaurant in town. When I went to finalize everything the DAY before my elopement the other restaurant ended up canceling on us. I called around and Cassano's did not even hesitate to take my party of 28 and let us have their entire patio! The day came, Saturday 9/30/23 and we were suppose to elope at the beach but it was raining, so I called Cassano's and they let us have our little ceremony on their patio! They helped us set it up, they helped organize everything with my step mom and aunts and honestly it was the cutest little wedding I could have ever imagined! The owner was hands on, so sweet and so accommodating! Shout out to Heidi our main go to person who streamlined everything! Shout out to Joe who took my endless calls and reassured me it would be amazing and he was right! Everyone enjoyed themselves! We will be coming back for every anniversary and can't wait to make a lifetime of memories at this restaurant! Thank you Cassano's for saving my wedding day, having amazing truly caring staff and the food is beyond one of the best italian food I have ever had!“
