“We were celebrating our anniversary. Staff was very friendly and professional. Food was outstanding. Love their revamped menu. We had a wide range of plates, which were all beautifully presented and full of flavor. Beverages which included a craft cocktail and cappuccino were delicious. Upscale ambience.“

“TLDR: It's the most reliable fish and chip store. I've tried this place at various times in a more than 5 year span and it has always been good. Can and will always recommend. Fish: Batter isn't too thick, and the fish has a flaky solid bite. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside with seasoning that won't overpower the mouth. Shrimp: The same solid battering with the same seasoning profile. Shrimp was not overcooked and it provides a different texture compared to the fish. Fries: Fries are fries. It's nothing special, but they didn't mess it up. Clam Chowder: Rich, creamy, loaded with seafood, and it can surprisingly compete with the better clam chowders around town. Service: It's a food truck. You order, you pay, and you get your food. It's not hard to mess it up. Ambiance: The picnic benches under the umbrellas around the truck isn't bad given the San Francisco climate. The tables are sometimes sticky though because they're probably not wiped as much.“

“Overall, it's a good valiant effort to imitate a British Chippy, for Americans it might be ok, but for British folks looking for the real thing, might be a let-down. Still, it's worth a bite.“

“I made my first trip to this jewel last Friday, and wow! Great food, mellow atmosphere, and just a fun place to be. Did I mention the delicious food? That too…along with an excellent selection of malted beverages…I could go back here many times and never get tired of it…“
