“Such a tasty place to eat. My friend took me to Sweet Maple and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! The line was out the door but we moved through the line pretty quickly. They allowed our smaller party to get seated faster. The service was excellent. I ordered pancakes and the salmon Hemingway eggs Benedict. I also got a latte and they made panda art!! So cute! You get a great value for the meal. I felt very satisfied after the meal and felt I definitely got a value for the price point. I also loved the cozy design inside; even though I sat outside. I definitely want to come back and try more of the menu. Delicious!“

“This super cool lounge style bar with yummy bar bites in the sunset district is the only one of it's kind on the west side of the city. The beautiful interiors have tons of seating options for groups large and small. The atmosphere is lively while still feeling laid back. The open room can get loud when busy but remains feeling intimate and cozy in the booths. Warm enough inside to get dressed up on the weekend while still casual for afterwork drinks. I absolutely adore this place and cannot recommend it highly enough.“

“I almost didn't leave a review because I don't want to blow up my fave low-key breakfast spot, but they deserve it. I always get their classic benedict and a caramel latte. Both are delicious & I'll always keep coming back for them! Food always comes out of the kitchen very fast but still tastes like it was made with care. Nice cafe atmosphere & all the staff are lovely. Also, I love the way they do their breakfast potatoes! Where I grew up, the most common side to have with breakfast is "home fries", which I've always loved, but is surprisingly hard to find in the city. I'm so glad I found them here, the flavours and crispiness is very nostalgic to me :)All in all, Paula's is a true neighbourhood gem & I'll keep coming back here as long as I can!“

Manny’s Brunch • $
3092 16th St, San Francisco

“I love the events Manny's has. It is a great space for civic engagement and discussions. They also have a good selection of wine, beer, coffee, tea, and even hot chocolate. One of their events was catered, which included empanadas and hummus with chips. I don't mind that combination - they were yummy. I hope to go there during a time when they serve food. Most events are not catered so I tend to get ravenous after it's done. But currently from Tuesdays - Thursdays (until 3pm I think), they will be serving food. The menu has mostly lunch options with a few breakfast options. I don't know if they open the event space during regular hours, but the cafe section is cozy. There's tables and chairs to do some work. Though, there is no wifi so I think that is a sign to not stay there for a ridiculous amount of time to work. I read an article where cafes are losing money because patrons will be one cup of coffee and work there for hours. One of their biggest events is their Sunday disco cleanups where you are rewarded with fries for your volunteer work cleaning up the Mission. Also, everyone who works there is really nice! Definitely check out Manny's Insta and their Eventbrite page. They have lots of events coming up, especially for this year's elections, so get informed and engaged!“

“Visiting SF and went here for breakfast. They open at 9, which seemed kinda late for a place offering breakfast... but we just waited 20 minutes, and it all worked out. They let us sit down inside which was nice of them. Great food for sure. I had the scrambled eggs and Soy Chorizo. The portions are huge... and if you're a normal eater, you'll have 2 meals most certainly.Great service (very nice people), fast food delivery.I recommend the Cap. Gar. for sure.“
