“My wife and I came here to get an authentic Chinese Cafe experience and were very happy with how it turned out. It seemed like this is definitely a spot where a lot of locals eat, definitely a place to be respectful and not loud. We got the beef Ramen and the Bangkok tea with a super good pastry that I can't remeber the name of but it was very tasty. We had a nice older women come up and talk to us and had a great conversation. The service here was happy and very helpful with the menu.Bathrooms could definitely have been cleaner. But the main upstairs area was pretty clean.Definitely a cool place to check out in China Town!“

“Very crowded- lots of people waiting; which means the food is good! Servers were super busy, yet they spent time understanding my husband’s dietary needs and made adjustments to food preparation. It was a rather long wait to get our food after ordering (30 min) but it WAS WORTH THE WAIT!“

“Wow best dim sum place we've ever been. Every dish is delicious. It was so good we came and had breakfast here every day we were in san francisco. Duck buns, string beans, tea, dumplings.. I would recommend all of them. Service is fast and food is good. They even had nice pudding desserts. Inside is nice and they are very busy so we tried to come here early to avoid wait. If you are traveling to SF you must eat here!“

Cash only.Tons of dishes to choose from. Tons of dim sum as well. White rice with 3 entrees, $5.50!! Dim sum rarely more than $3. A hearty meal for 3.....<$26! “The food is excellent, the service is what you might expect at an extremely busy dim sum restaurant. Short & not always kind but efficient none the less. They can accommodate a large party & that’s the only way to eat dim sum!“

“Everyone was right. This is some of the best fried chicken I've had. Top 10. I went to Chinatown on my own lil foodie crawl and New Golden Daisy was a *must-try* for me. Frying chicken is a skill. An art form. How do you bread it? What seasonings do you include? Is it crunchy enough? It's very serious friends. But lucky for anyone who visits New Golden Daisy, you better believe that the folks behind the counter know exactly what they're doing. I visited the biz next door first due to the line and it was shocking to me that New Golden Daisy didn't have a line going out their door as well. Once I was ready, I returned (with cash) ready to order. There's no seating, just enough space for guests to line up and peruse the options available. There was rice, noodles, chicken, duck in the window and so much more. None of the guests I saw going in and out before me were speaking English so I was afraid that I was going to embarrass myself when I got up there. A woman came from the back and gave me a big smile and gestured at me to order. I went with a half pound of wings, not knowing if I could/should order by the piece and not wanting to frustrate anyone. I feel like I barely blinked and she had scooped up my wings and tossed them into a cardboard container. Love it! And then she said it was only $5! With about 7 wings in the container, I think it was a good deal. Let me honest. As I was waiting on my lyft back to my hotel (I was tired y'all, pls don't judge me), I just couldn't imagine not trying these wings while they were hot. I would have given anything for a casual dining space, a chair, a lil stool, idk. But I didn't have that. So I ate a piece of the chicken while standing there waiting for my ride. Some people looked, some may have judged, but guess who was enjoying some of the most delicious, freshly-fried chicken in their life? Me. 5-stars. No notes. Wish I had slipped some in my suitcase to go.“

“Since I couldn't get used to the time difference, I went every morning at 7am and didn't have to wait. This is a great value for money house. The taste is truly excellent for the price. And, the taste is similar to what I had in Hong Kong. The taste is close to the original and does not taste like American Chinese food! Highly recommended for those who can't adjust to jet lag!“

“I literally ran to the restaurant! Was somehow drawn to the restaurant, even after I just had dinner. This place serves classic canto dishes and is opened by a Chinese.I only ordered Hot and Spicy soup as it was cold outside and I was looking for some very comforting food.I come from a majority Chinese country, and yet even I found that the soup was nice, comforting, very very appetizing. They were also very considerate by moderating the level of spiciness, probably to cater for a wider range of taste bud. You can adjust the level according to your comfort. The interior decor was also very tastefully done and is very clean. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful.I am writing this midway through my meal and I am already thinking of coming back here again even though I am leaving US in a few days time.I later also ordered HK Milk tea. It was very authentic but slightly healthier (less sweet). Do try!I have nothing but good memories for this place. I will definitely remember this place after I go back to my home country.“
