This was an excellent find. Restaurant was packed, but we were able to be seated outside rather quickly. They had lots of heaters and televisions playing different sporting events. The inside had a dark, old school steakhouse vibes which I loved. We ordered appetizers and a Detroit style pizza. It was delicious!!!!! This place knows pizza. Ordered a cracker thin pizza with sausage. It was as good or better than any place in Chicago that serves this style crust. Super thin and crispy tavern style. The meatball sub was also excellent. Great meatballs and huge too. The cannoli was excellent and just like what I had in Italy years ago. All the servers were welcoming and friendly.

Holy Cow!! What a great place! Wonderful old school ambience. Great food. Great drinks! Great service from the wonderful Rowan! Up here from LA to visit my son who's in grad school and wanted some great Italian. Did some research and ended up here. Started with drinks - a great Manhattan and then some good wine. Great Anti-pasta dish and then a massive cast iron baked Old Chicago pizza. Unbelievably great! In a city of great Italian restaurants Capo's stands out!!
