“I had a fantastic peanut butter cookie and good coffee in the afternoon. Loved the vibe — so many plants! Family and dog friendly with outdoor seating (although there’s no indoor; it’s reserved for employees). They also have merch and coffee for sale. Yummy local coffee stop.“

“This place is always rocking on the weekends. I only get tea here so I can’t comment on the coffee, but the teas are exotic and done right . Thank you team!
Kid-friendliness: Kid aren’t usually here, but I’m sure they are welcome“

“I've tried espresso beans from a number of different local roasters. I'm so happy that I've finally found one near my home which has beans that are consistently great quality. The range of unique drinks that they make, awesome. I go in and get something different pretty much any time I get a new bag, or any time I'm passing by for that matter!“

“This coffee place is from far the BEST in the mission district. I live in the Nob hill and walk all the way to Grand Coffee II for their flat white and for the smiles of the baristas !“

“I absolutely adore this place! I've been a loyal customer for over a year now. The coffee is consistently delicious with a wide variety to choose from, and it's always fresh. Rose and San are incredible; their warm greetings brighten my mornings and make me smile without fail. Thank you (Addy)“

“This place is, as we would say back in the day, the bomb-diggity! Carlos, the proprietor, manages to learn regulars’ names within like one, two visits tops. The espresso drinks are crafted with sincere care for the end product—which is head & shoulders above anything you can get for blocks & blocks around. But the best thing is the warmth & conviviality you get served up alongside your brew. Seriously worth twice the price. Makes me look forward to the beginning of my workdays.“

“My personal favourite (along side Blue Bottle) even though prices might be on the higher end. Liked both their drips and beans. Also the Potrero location is amazing - very sunny, quiet and peaceful. When I lived in the area I came here weekend mornings to enjoy the sun with my coffee.“

“Good for a quick bite. I like the local feel of the place but it can get very crowded, especially on the weekends so I'm glad for the outdoor tables. I like to stop by when I'm going to hang out near Ocean Beach. The food is tasty!“

“My favorite drink at Abanico is Pinolillo, which is a traditional Nicaraguan drink made from cacao. Delicious and frothy and yummy with Almond milk.“
