“It's a must visit spot for Iconic and authentic donuts in San Francisco. They have a variety of flavours to try and they are open 24 hours. My personal favorites vanilla custard, blueberry, old fashioned, marshmallow, apple.Unfortunately, they don't have dine in space and offers only take away.“

“Old school bakery. It’s advertised as gluten free bakery. I wouldn’t know the difference since I’m not allergic or anything. The taste was okay. Their cinnamon rolls were good, the cupcake was a bit sweet.Parking: It’s well known that parking around here is difficult. Parking lots are limited, so you have to drive around between public garages.Kid-friendliness: There are some kid’s pastries.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair entrance“

“I have the creme brulee donut it was really good. They have a microwave in the corner for you to heat it up a little bit I may have warmed mine a little too long and the sugar shell melted but the taste of the donut was a supreme and the cream filling was divine.“

“The donuts and the coffees are so delightful the delicious flavors of the different donuts. It's to be admired and adored because not many places give you the variety that you have here. Servers were wonderful atmosphere was fantastic. What's not to love? Please check out diamond donuts if you're in San Francisco.“
“This is my absolute favorite diner anywhere on earth. And for so many reasons.1. Atmosphere: is it a bar? A diner? A pinball machine warehouse? A little bit of all this things, really. Cozy, weird, and vaguely threatening, there isn't any risk that you'll be outclassed by your surroundings. More likely, you'll find yourself wanting to stay well after you're done eating. And no one will be rushing you to leave.2. Service: i was better attended than in most of the "better" restaurants I've been to, and Pamela actually boxed my leftovers for me. Love that!!3. Food: perfectly simple, simply perfect. Pancakes were incredible.“
“A great place that doesn't really need another 5-star review. I visited both locations and was impressed with both, I met the owner at the Hahdough Kitchen on Laguna, she waited on me personally. At Laguna you transact your business via a storefront window. Fell street is set up like a regular bakery where you go in and select from items in a glass case. Wife sampled both the Black Forest and Gentleman's cake, opted for the latter. I was more for the Black Forest myself. I also tried the Berliner and Cinnamon pastry because I deserved a reward for my efforts. All were great. One heads-up: they close at 3p which is a rude realization when they call you at 2:40pm while you are en route via Muni and 40 minutes away, the day before wife's birthday. A quick disembarkation and Lyft ride later, all good.“
“Just stopped by to get a Cappuccina banana and a boiled egg. Cappuccino was outstanding with heavy foam delicious coffee. The banana and the egg were the banana and the egg. What struck me most was call. Nice to people were friendly it was and how the people who came in ordering sandwiches, omelettes, etc. seem to find the place just as I have friendly warm and good food.“

“I tried the matcha mochi donut and the ube mochi donut. Both were made fresh and tasted amazing! They were the perfect texture and each flavor was brought out really well. My favorite was the matcha donut. I'll definitely come back here!“

“They have the healthiest, most economical, reasonably priced food on this hill. Let me tell you! This place is the working and retired men's staple up here. Why, you might ask? Well, hard working blue collar and budget minded retired men like and appreciate a good value when they see one! They serve good portions, good food, and have cute waitresses according to my neighbor, Allan. He's sweet.I will also add that these Cambodian ladies are great neighbors too. Because just when I thought that I was the only one in this neighborhood who cared about other people, strangers, (a regular) the locksmith from Warman Security around the block from here, and the waitress from this shop came all the way to my building to check on my eldest tenant. He is apparently been a very good customer for 2 years now (since his falls began and I met him when I was 1 year new to the building). He's also a gentleman and a former Haberdasher who came down here when he was 20 from Sacramento.I got him connected to a Case Manager today, so that he could get Special Accomodation. That way he can get a team of support service workers behind him to help him bathe, get his errands, and chores done. I spent all afternoon with him to make sure he was fed. Because when I found him today, he was weak and malnourished after being in and out of the hospital for the last from falling too much.My only complaint about this place is that I wish they were open 24 hours a day. Then, I could eat there more often, but that would be selfish of ME. I'm sure they have families to go home to. Nothing good happens here after dark. This neighborhood has not bounced back regarding nightlife. It's not worth the riff raff and harrassment, especially if the money and foot traffic isn't there.“

“Breakfast sandwiches are legit! Simple and good and plenty of options. Used to go to Eats for breakfast before they revamped the menu and made everything expensive with little value. Donuts are fine - I think sometimes they’re over baked in my opinion but yes yes yes to breakfast sandos. Theyre also open early if you’re passing by on the way for a day trip or something.“

“A amazing spot for great doughnuts and a cup of Joe. Morning treat, grab one or a dozen. The selection is large and you will not just want one. A great way to start the morning. The staff is friendly and helpful with your selection. Definitely a spot to choose in your neighborhood.“

“I am a fan! I ordered their chicken teriyaki bahn mi, it's packed with chicken veggies and FLAVOR! I love how the bread was crispy and light. I opted to add pate for an extra $1.50 which really enhanced the flavor. The lady I believe is the owner and she is super friendly. Their Vietnamese iced coffee also tastes amazing, the coffee flavor is still strong and not overpowered by the sweetness. To be honest I didn't feel to sit in there and eat as it's a bit dark but if you're looking for an affordable and tasty meal, this is a great option!“

“I mean what else is there to say it's a no frills donut shop with affordable prices especially being in San Francisco. It was 10am and I was thinking breakfast food or a sandwich would fuel me for the day. After researching various spots and being turned off by $17+ basic egg and toast breakfasts and deli shop sandwiches I took to the streets blindly and gazed upon my answer to an affordable breakfast. The sweet couple that run the place were kind and joked with each other in their native language. They seemed very happy to be working. Came out to $12.50 for a bahn mi and drip coffee. Is there a better deal in the city for a bahn mi? Absolutely, however I was on foot and not trying to walk far to save a few bucks. They even threw a few donut holes for free. Took the sandwich to the pier and had a great breakfast.“

“Growing up in Houston, my family constantly went to donut shops, but we never got donuts: always pigs in a blanket with cheese and jalapeños, or maybe ham and cheese. We called them kolaches; the Czech people who made them big in Houston called them klobasneks. This spot really does the trick. Places that are cheap like this are a dying breed. Thank God there's a spot in the Mission I can get a small bit of hot food in under 5 minutes.“
“Been passing by this shop all my life and finally decided to stop by after hearing some good things about this place. Normally, I disregard a lot of customer service highlights from reviews, but holy cannoli it's true. The owner is cool asf and the donuts are good too. Definitely gonna be supporting this mom & pop shop for as long as I can.“

“This place is AWESOME! Being vegan, I asked what was available. I was told the plain cake donut, the sugar donut and the crumb donut were all vegan! I grabbed a crumb and sugar and they blew me away. Absolutely wonderful. My partner, who is not vegan, got an egg and cheese sandwich that was HUGE and delicious! We also shared a lemonade that was the perfect balance of sweet and sour. I can not recommend this place enough. If not for the food, then for the excellent service. Definitely needs to be a stop when visiting San Fran:)“

“I love that they are open until midnight! They accept both card and cash. But if your total is under $7, there is a fee for using credit card. (If your total is over $7, no credit card fee.)Very convenient location because they are right on the 9th and Judah stop (N).I got a cinnamon bun and a star-shaped sprinkle donut for $5.90 and the cinnamon bun was delicious. The star-shaped donut is so cute and I really enjoyed it!“

“This little cafe is right by one of the most scenic spots in SF - Crissy Field! I stopped by during a walk along the water. They have a few tables and chairs to enjoy your food and drinks there as well. I got a regular coffee, which I enjoyed, but the star of the show was the donut. I had the lemon poppy seed donut, which is one of their seasonal options. The flavors were great and I particularly liked that it wasn't too sweet. The donuts are small but hefty and it made the perfect snack. They also have vegan and gluten free regular and seasonal options, making this place super accessible for everyone.“

“There isn't a more ubiquitous food than donuts. Everyone has their own preferences and memories attached to really good donuts, or the routine of getting them, either as an adult or kid. Sure there are fancy, pseudo gourmet donuts places that charge you absurd amounts for 87 cents worth of ingredients, but nothing beats an old school donut shop. Everyone has their favorite, and for this place to do so well while just down the street from Bob's speaks to the quality of their product. Sours are hearty and very reasonably priced, and best of all, really delicious. I fancy myself an apple fritter aficionado and theirs was magnificent.“

“The owner works hard ,she remembers your order and your face..the elephant in the room is the junk addled zombies that congregate outside and crowd the place when their welfare arrives and think nothing of taking 30m to order a donut ....luckily if your a regular you'll get your order before the bus comes!!Hardest worker in S.F“
“Dang can you tell I'm a big fan of donuts?? I feel like I review a ton of donut spots all over the city, but it's because it's a quick and delicious snack or meal (depending on your mood) that you can try. Silver Cafe is a staple on the corner of Mission and Silver! It's always open early and their donuts are always fresh. Their staff are so nice! If you want a legit and affordable donut and quick, stop on by, they'll serve you one quick and easy!“

“If you’re just a huge fan of bread in general like me the sourdough donuts here are a must try! The sourdough taste and chew does come out and cuts against the sweetness of the glaze and I found it so interesting! Such a unique bite! Both times I came were early in the morning so I had my pick of donuts. Some look almost like mini cakes, they’re so decadent. I went simple with dark chocolate sea salt and blueberry lime and the flavors sang beautifully.“

“Walked in by chance. We were touring San Francisco and wanted to get something portable, so donuts and smoothie sounded good. Once inside we saw the two ladies making amazing ham/cheese croissant sandwich and we had to try. Delicious!! Hot and toasty from the oven, flaky croissant. So good. We also saw huge chicken burritos being made… will have one of those next time! The mango smoothie was a cool blast of flavor. Tasted like summer. We also got a glazed donut (why not?! ?) and an apple fritter. Both were fresh and delicious.Accessible. A few small tables. Street parking.“
“I give it a 5. Average of only 3 stars on yelp?? What do crazy people expect? This is San Francisco and a 1 item combo is $4.50, cash only. This isn't a Michelin star restaurant. So for what it is it, deserves 5 stars. Also, the owner is nice.“
