De lo más auténtico. I felt like I was in Sanahcat, Mexico eating in an abuelita’s kitchen. Amazing, real, legitimate Mayan indigenous food. This did my whole heart good. I was not expecting this much deliciousness and yet that’s what I got. (We shared a salbute, a tamal and an order of cochinita pibil for the two of us.) Almost all of the clientele when we were there was Yucatec Maya (the guys at the table next to us were chatting in Maya). Utz tin t’aan.
