Came here without a reservation and was seated at the bar fairly quickly. There were several 4 tops at the window of the shop. The shop is small and was a bit cramp at the bar. Nigiri omakase was dressed nicely. The sweet shrimp came with the fried heads. Same options were decent and approachable. House made ponzu and pickled jalapeño were good. We had to wait twenty minutes past our reservation time, but the hostess was very sweet. The food was very good (maybe a tiiiiny bit too pricey). We had the nigiri tasting - truly amazing. This place does not disappoint. Chef’s choice nigiri was truly excellent, house salad was also superb. Even the ice cream was just a cut above what you’d generally get from a cute urban sushi joint. Timing of courses was great—no long waits for anything and no sense of being rushed. Genuinely warm and friendly service with good recommendations. What a gem.
