I can't believe I've lived in San Francisco my entire life and hadn't had Liguria's focaccia until last month. I came in right before 9:00am on a Tuesday and was able to get three slabs of the pizza focaccia ($9 each), which is what my colleague who grew up in North Beach recommended, to bring to the office. It was easily one of the best focaccia I've ever had! No wonder they typically sell out well before they close for the day. I'll definitely be back to try the other kinds....read full review
THE source for the BEST focaccia!!! Definitely worth a side trip to North Beach! I learned about this place from my wonderful cooking teacher many years ago, Joan Wood, who grew up in this neighborhood.

Hit up Liguria on my way to work on a weekday morning. It was super fast and fresh. Loved the bread. Next time I'll buy their dough for making pizzas at home. I'm sure it'll be amazing.
